    sketchbook acapulco

    Hi there,

I wanted to do a sketchbook here for quite some time now, but didn't really have the time. Nevermind, just doin it now!

So, I'll post up everything coming up of my stuff in here.
My stuff so far can be partially seen here: http://simonkopp.de

Here's some stuff I did at my internship at Bigpoint Berlin, working on Drakensang Online as concept artist. I hope to get a good scanner or cam soon to get some sketches in here.

That one here is a kinda speedpaint from yesterday. Was kinda fun refinding an old brush.

Some doodles! Not doing much drawing on the pc, not really liking it. But it was rather relaxing today.

I decided to show some stuff from the beginning of the year. It was a task in my studies.

This last one is kinda like my favourite one. I decided to overhaul it a month ago. It is also the background of an animation.

Excellent stuff Acapulco. I like how clearly you depict forms, all the elements in your paintings have a really solid appearance because of that. My fave is also the one with the burgeoning plant tasty colors!

I checked your portfolio as well - you are damn good! Keep updating this sketchbook

    Ah spambots... damn them!

Thanks for the kind words, I never heard to be an inspiration, cool thing. I think I will do more such 'ghibli-esque forest scenes' just because I love 'em. And that one turned out to be cool.
My intern wasn't for free, I got money for it. Bigpoint is a nice place to be for an intern! I think I wouldn't have accepted it in the first place without a proper salary, non-paid internships are slavery.

Thanks, working on my colors constantly.

So, long time no update for Airborn. No, it is not dead yet, who would've thought? I decided to do kind of a keyimage for the Ice/Foggy Setting. It took about two months from scratch to finish, but with pauses and many sketches from Jaster and me.

    Hope you guys like it!
