CDW Studios is a new private school offering courses and workshops
for students and industry professionals taught by world class industry
artists in a realistic studio setting. Each week you will see a demo from
your instructor working LIVE on the big screen. Follow along, learn and
watch as the instructor guides you through industry specific workflows,
pipelines and techniques. Each week you will be given set homework
and each week you will get you homework reviewed and get one-on-one
feedback from these industry PROS!
CDW Studios has evolved from the success of the Concept Design
Workshops that have been held throughout Australia and New Zealand.
CDW is an Australian based live educational intensive training experience.
Industry professionals and students alike will have the opportunity
to learn what its takes to become a successful concept designer and hone
and develop industry specific techniques that are used in a day to day
professional environment. CDW Studios is expanding upon these intensive
workshops and now offering courses where you study longer and more
varied subjects from world class industry professionals for all aspects
of the film VFX and video game industries.
CDW is aware that their is a gap between finishing schooling and then
moving into working in the industry. CDW Studios will strive to bridge
the gap between being a student and working in the industry. Each
course will be taught by industry professionals with lots of experience
so you can learn all about specific techniques, tools, pipelines and
workflows. CDW studios will cater towards all areas of the Visual Effects
and Entertainment design. These courses are designed to SUPPLEMENT
your university/TAFE/schooling that you are currently attending and
develop your creativity and techniques.
