thank you for those pics, i do notice that when i tend to paint on the tablet my hand almost automatically starts to hurt! but my hands have already been affected by work (i work in drywall which uses alot of wrist movement >.>) idk how i feel about that... haha, anyways the reason i paint on my bed is because my desk and chair are too uneven its really unfomfortable :/ i also have to hunch if i am in a comfortable position.... but yeah i had gotten a tablet years ago thats why its so small cus it was the cheapest wacom, 80 bucks i think i really wish i could buy me an intuos but i dont think my parents would allow it!

btw when i draw in my sketchbook i also draw on my bed..... i really hope my dad ends up making that extra room he always talks about so i can use it to do all my arts stuff in! but probably wont happen!

oh and also i ended up joining the teen challenge but to be honest i dont think im going to finish it :/ im getting way too ahead of myself

Well they arw alright haha the last ine i was kinda going for a monster awakening effect where the professor in the back is scared shitless while the monsters menacingly stares at you with it pouring down and lightning and junk haha

Hey man, if you're going to get some art supplies...maybe look into, some new pencils, or a graphite stick or pens like you said. Change it up, if you've been using something for a while grab a different media and play with that!

Yeah i already have a set of pencils and watercolor pencils which i never got into, i really like the effect you get with the super thing pencils and i heard drawing with pen helps with lines? Like in making confident strokes

Yeah drawing with pens will do that, you have to be really careful with what you put down, it's tricky and frustrating. Kim Jung Gi, is a master at that kind of drawing, look up his videos they're crazy. If you're talking about my lines though, I just use a mechanical pencil, it's really thin and as long as you wear the lead down on one side, you get this super sharp side on the other, so you can utilize both to have a thick and thin line. Anyway, I'll stop babbling...

Embarrassing to say I try to stay away from challenges as i am afraid to do imaginative things. I feel like i will try that stuff when my fundamentals are down. Like I can draw a human ok and put clothes on him or something!

I like scifi and a broad range of things, really.

you shouldnt shy away from imaginitive things, you gotta put what youve learned into action or else you wont know if youre improving or not! even if its just little things you know!

since you like sci fi stuff try some vehicle studies, i actually wanna learn how to draw vehicles and space ships and stuff i just dont know how to get started
