Stepping out of the shadows

Hi all, new to posting here but not so new to CA. I've been coming here for the past 4 years, mainly drawn to the sculpture forum. I've checked out other forums/threads here and there, and have always been impressed and inspired by the amount of talent here. I finally decided it's time to stop hiding and share my art here, and I look forward to any feedback positive or not!

Just a little back story on myself for those interested;

I graduated from the Art Institute of Los Angeles last December with a BS in Media Arts and Animation. During my time there, I really felt being a concept artist was my calling, the school thought differently. Not to say I didn't learn a ton of new skills, but graduating with a reel that doesn't really show my passion doesn't do much for me.

Mix that in with getting married, owning a house, and a hefty student debt; getting my dream job is a bit more of a challenge than I originally perceived.

After taking a necessary break from doing some serious art work, it's time to get my portfolio and reel to where I really envision it.

Aah a sculptor Yeah the sculpting section
has some incredible talent, a lot of great artists there that
I never see on any other parts of the forum!

Welcome! I think most of us start out as lurkers. I did anyways. I'd been visting this site off and on for years before I ever registered. It is worth interacting with other artists because they're the only ones that won't let you settle for good enough.
