    My Designs

    Hey,

I own a start up company called "Don't Touch That Design” and I have been working really hard to get my images on some shirts. I have finally been able to create a couple shirts, and let me tell you there is nothing more exciting to see your ideas on shirts. Check out some of the image down below that will appear on the shirts.

You would get much more answers if you actually post images rather then links.

Some one gave me the idea to put it on a can, like a tuna can. But, think little kerl on the side shaped liked chips would be pretty funny. I am just a nervous guy with my designs, the Watermark will not be on the shirt.

Yea I know, hiefery is a problem. I like how this look on the shirt. Only thing is I would like to see more of the cannabis leaf. It kind of loose its messege when you dont show it. But the effect of the smoke is just awsome. I'd like one of these. Just be sure to make'em in 4x aswell, rigth

I think you should go with the green smoke. Looked much cooler.
I like the poster version (but still, green smoke)

    That is an awesome image!

This is what I am trying to do with the Shirt. I want to have pants as well, but it would have the logo and the smoke under it trailing down to the left pocket of the pants where you see the CannaFish blowing the smoke.

To be perfectly honest, this is nowhere near being a viable business, if you want to do more than just post up half baked ideas and sell the occasional design to a friend you are going to have to take this more seriously. First concentrate on your designs before you think about a business card, logo and selling anything. They are far from complete and need more thought and effort put into them. Your smoking pufferfish is the closest to being complete but has a lot of areas where it can be improved. After you have at least 5 and more probably 10 different designs, you need to sell yourself. And judging by the card and logo, i would suggest hiring a professional designer to accomplish this, on a budget which i assume you have, probably a freelancer. That or you sell your designs through an already established business like 'designedbyhumans' or 'threadless'

The Cannafish looks really good on the poster and I like how you placed it offset on the white tee, but like someone said before me because you don't see all of the herb leaf some of the message is lost. But still dope.

I could have seen myself rocking this on a XLT Beefy Tee back in the day.

As for the Vicious Circle graphics, I like the gorilla but really don't like the rabbit. I think he needs his mouth open wider. He also looks TOO two-dimensional.

Oh- and unless that was a conscious design decision, get that Comic Sans font off your business card. It screams Microsoft Publisher.

Good Luck on your business venture. Stay motivated and keep working on new designs.

Correction. Comic Sans, should never be a conscious design decision.

Good luck to you on your business. A couple of considerations. First off, what printing method are you going to use for these? It's one thing to submit them to threadless or DBH and let them print it. It is another if you are trying to start a t-shirt business. One way to minimize your costs is to create clever designs that take advantage of your chosen print method. Also, consider placement on the shirt. Your canafish design is the strongest (greensmoke), but the placement you've shown on shirt mock-up is extremely difficult to print and near impossible if you are screen printing on premade blanks. Another thing is scale, unless you want to pay for different size screens creating designs that look just as good on a small as they do on a 4XL is key. Remember, although the shirt itself is flat, it will be viewed on a 3D canvas (people).

I like your ideas, they are certainly interesting. I would say, on the rabbit piece especially, font choice (it looks like Rosewood to me?) is killing it, and takes away from the appeal.

what this guy is doing is how a lot of people get noticed in australia. not everyone has to follow the guidelines. although i'd suggest aiming towards dark strokes and vibrant colours these days. im not too sure what the competition and fashion is in different countries, but have a look at Dan Mumford if you haven't already. his designs are extremely popular throughout australia. if you have a job it isn't too hard to save for things like bulk tee shirt prints and if your keen enough you can buy your own equipment and screen print them yourself.

I think you have a good little start, but I would wait until you have more designs under your belt before opening your own t-shirt company. That being said I love the cannafish and think that it looks spectacular on the poster. T-shirt would be awesome (I love side placements), but without the leaves the meaning is a bit lost for the viewers.

    Cool design man.
You wanna know what I think? Go on Threadless or Deviant-art (you have an accompt already as I can see^^) and submit your design for challenges.

I highly recommend to you to do that a couple of time before (may) wasted alot of money in your new business; your talented, but don't even try to really make a T-shirt collection alone.

Until you have *alot* of motivation, an empty cave, CASH to begin your enterprise, and 3-4 years that you can live without significant profits. And that you know how to drive your business.

    Here's my two cents...
I keep trying to learn how to draw since I was 3 years old... except that I just understand that I have to pratice and that's all.
BTW i'm a french native speaker so my english can be really bad... I apologize...
