Leo_7 - Haha, noo not all of that was done in one day, It's like an update of a couple of weeks =P College does not let me draw that much unfortunately.

Here are some digital stuffs I worked on last week. I know is not much, but what I do I try to push it enough to look better than the past thing I draw, trying to improve. Please, let me know what do you think. Yes yes, a lot of work is needed with faces, but maan those things are soo hard! XD

I love your little figure thumbnails - They've got a great movement to them .
All your lines are really dynamic, makes for a fun sketchbook to browse.

the small figure studies have a lot of energy. A useful point that one of my professors drilled into our skulls in regards to faces is you really only need 5 shadow shapes to make one: The shadow of the eye sockets, under the nose, the shadow of the upper lip, below the lower lip, and under the chin. Then go in and start doing stuff like eyes and nostrils etc.

Cow July 2012- update 62 - Update after a huge abscence!

Well, I've been abscent for a big while... but it's time to get back and begin with the hard work again!! School and other things distract me from the hard practice that must be done to achieve some good level here. Because of that, I've decided to try again and "restart" my uploadings. I'll be happy if I could get some advice, comments, and critics from you guys!

I've been sketching some stuff since I left, not in the same amount of course, but it's something. Here it is, somewhat of an update to keep things fresh.

Haha, as some may notice, I'm still working with faces, they still are not quite right, but I can say at least that they have improved a little XD
I tryed my hand at some vehicles also, as well as some robots, etc.
Perhaps I'll upload the 3D stuff I usually work on, that consumes a lot of my time, and I guess it would be a good idea to show some of it here too

I think that's enough talk for now! Thanks for your comments and critics ^^

    Red face update 63

Just finished working on this 3D thing today. It took like 3 months to finish! But I'm glad with the result ^^

Also, a random dog sketch I did while waiting for the final render to be competed.

    some 3D and torso v4

Time for some of the 3D I've been working on
Haha, I'm trying to create some kind of anthrolike dude, and learning a lot of modeling stuff in the process! If everything goes well I may animate this guy ^^

Also, the 4th version of the torso study I've been working on. Please, let me know what you think! Comments and critics are encourage and very well appreciated

Pete Hidalgo: You're very welcome! Haha, my environments, well, I have to keep working on those, specially with their composition, have them abandoned for while...

Wretched: You know me? haha from where? DEviant I guess And yes, I've spent a lot of time, almost all, to art and all this things I really enjoy and love ^^

Thank you so much for visiting my sketchbook I really appreciate your advice! That torso study is kickass! You can really read the shapes of the musculature. Man I gotta do some longer studies! Props on the 3d model too, that stuff isn't easy.

    Keep up the good work!

Hey Darkthur, good to see you back and posting again!

Great work in here, especially on those architecture and environment pieces further up the page. The torso studies are great, but watch you don't give him women's breats. In the tonal version they look a bit full, and the nipples seem to be in an odd position.

Re faces. I cant help you there because you're way ahead of me. I guess it's just a case of keep practicising and you'll get there.

    Wasp tiny traditional sketchbook update

Time for a little traditional update!

Maan I've noticed I'm turning more digital than traditional... Not that digital is bad, but I believe traditional sketching is the best to become better, right?

    --

liquorbleu: Thank you! Haha, imagination, well I guess all of us have some, the hard part is being able to show it in a nice and interesting way XD Still working on that! :

CrashPoint: thanks and you are welcome! I have to admit that just recently I discovered the true value of longer studies! Haha, it really makes you aware of your skills. So, if you have some time, try it!
Yeah, 3d stuff is hard and time consuming, but also very fun to do

Candra H: It's you!! Hey I'm glad you came back to see my stuff! I know I've been away for a long while... School really takes my time, and also, for some reason I'm not that good nor am used to be on forusm, so yeah, I have to do a big effort to post and check and reply etc. But I believe all the feedback and great artists here are worth it, so yeah, I'm back and hopefully stay for a long time .
Thanks for the advice on the torso's chest. I'll keep that in mind

Looking at the rabbit illustration makes me realize that I have a very dirty mind...sigh.

It's all great though. Love seeing the different things you do. Would not mind seeing more studies done by you.

    Icon Cuban Camel WIP

    Hi guys!

just decided to work with a character design, kind of Comments on how to improve this one are greatly appreciated! You know, things like:
    -Facial Expression
    -Facial Features
    -Use of light and shading
    -The correctness of the body
    -overall composition.

Or anything else you may think it can improve!!

Thank you very much for your time, I'll upload a newer version with some improvements later on

    --
Isaac ES: Guanajuato! Of course! Never been there thoug... wait Supongo que hablas español también no es así?

Toffers: Haha, some people have already said that! But why?? what does this bunny has to make people think dirty thingS?? XD
Anyways, yeah, I really need to work on much more studies! the thing is that at times I just loose the "where to start" or "what to do" ...

Psychobuddy: Thank you very much, sure I will!
