Quick landscape study.

Nice brushstrokes in that study Peter
Crappy picture for school assignment.
A tank concept...

It's fun posting to myself...

Neat tank concept. It reminds me a little to a Tau battlecraft.
One thing though: It's got a lot of black edges and lines for something that's in a warm desert landscape.
Nice work on the study. You captured his face really well, but again.. there's a lot of black in there. I don't know what the picture itself might look like, so I could be wrong! Still I'm liking it. Keep up the good
work
Mila: Thanks!
Hmm you're right, should push back the darker tones a little.
True, but the original photo was the same, lots of dark colors and such. (here)
And here's a continuation of Lucetta.

Nice sketchbook! Particularly like your landscape study - there's a freshness about the marks you've made with it. It's also got a nice receding sense of 3d that the last two sci fi scapes are lacking a little - everything is drawn from flat on rather than as a 3d shape with perspective, you might want to adjust the camera angle so we see the building from more of a 3/4 view, or add some more perspective into the foreground, like paths reaching out toward the viewer, or some more 3/4 buildings up front.
Your figures have a nice sense of character, and it's great to see some genuine expressions of joy and happiness rather than sultry sexiness and moodinessMain issue I have with the latest character is that the super smooth way you've rendered her face is at odds with the sketchiness of the rest of the figure. It's a little bit the same on the kimono-clad girl further up the page too, but you seem to have used larger strokes in her clothing so it doesn't read as badly. But you do have a great control over faces and skintones!
Really nice sketchbook, your characters, and armor are really nice. I agree with what zephyri said on the faces though, their good but don't really blend well with the rest of the image to me.
zephyri: Thank you very much for your throughout critique! I'll fix those mistakes later on~
And thanks for taking a look at my crappy sketchbook. Always a pleasure when a highly skilled artist drops by. : )
Jonesoda: Thank you! Aye, I'll work on that.
Here's a quick monster concept I just finished.

This all looks so great! You really have a good foundation in a lot of areas! I am especially loving your landscapes/cityscapes and that fully-armored pretty lady.
TrundleBee: Thank you kindly! I'm glad you do.
Here's a painting study from Sherlock Holmes.

Stuff is awesome. Love the movie studies.
Thanks Hayden, I'm glad you do.
Here's an assignment for school.
I had to paint an environment/cityscape concept for the District 9 movie, as it's continuation. The task was to come up with aliens' homeworld and it must also contain some kind of hierarchy. I chose three classes, the lower (slums) the middle researcher/army/intellectual class and the elite higher class.
The higher class is of a totally different species. A highly advanced race controlling the aliens. This race controls the Exo Suits seen in the movie also. They seperate themselves from the aliens in their gigantic pyramid-like buildings.
