True vector painting tool

Hey guys! Some time ago there was a nice tool called "Creature House Expression", I remember I was using it on my old Mac... I hope someone remembers. It allowed to paint in a true vector while keeping the painting very lively. There were brushes like real brushes, you could mix your paints - while keeping it all in vectors. Like Corel Painter - but everything in vectors

Is there anything like that nowdays for Mac+Wacom?

You may want to look at Autodesk Sketchboook Pro Designer, Its a Painting/Vector Hybrid and quite amazing as it saves you time for using one tool for both.

Are there any alternatives? Unfortunately I find Sketchbook Pro unsuitable for painting

Sketchbook designer is different than sketchbook pro. It's a hybrid vector/raster that is useful for clean designs with smooth shading and nice lines. Probably not what you're looking for. It's interactive in a very unique way, but the results don't look like a painting. Vector color blending sounds interesting, never seen anything like it

Arshes Nei - unfortunately they stopped developing it for Mac since 2003.

Black Spot - looks very interesting.... will be trying it

shrunkendesigner - personally I find Illustrator too dedicated to design, instead of painting, but anyway thanks for reminder

Noted, but were there too many features left out to not be able to still use it?

I still use old software a lot. Like Open Canvas 1.1, Easy Paint tool Sai was still used a lot even though it's just recently (bout a near 5 year gap) since he started fixing bugs...

In fact, it is not compatible with Intel processor on Mac

macs have gone through several substantial architecture changes, and backwards compatibility for anything, pre-intel released, is not technically possible (there're some key hardware elements absent, and powerpc mac os systems emulation is only possible to a certain degree.)

that's why I have to keep windows xp to run painter 6 on mac, and I'll have to use it for painter IX.5 (which I would have preferred not to) when I upgrade to lion/mountain lion at some point.
any software released before 2005-2006 falls under "pre-intel".

Yeah, I was running Expression with Rosetta but the latest Lion doesn't support it completely. I tried to use it with Parallels but couldn't establish pressure sensitivity thus making it useless... and running a separate Windows on Mac is sooo boring and time/disk space consuming
