2. Click the date for today (US DATE/TIME for those of you who are ahead of us by a day)
3. Click JOIN SESSION (or click VIEW RECORDED SESSION if watching On Demand recorded sessions from prior dates)
4. A page will load asking for you to please enter your name.
5. A java application will download. Click save and run it.
6. the app will run and you are now in!

I'd really like to watch these, but unfortunately the link isn't working for me! I just get an "address family not supported by protocol family" error when the application tries to open. Any ideas how I can get this to work?

Man I have the worst luck. Awesome portfolio reviews are happening and I'm stuck without power until at least Sat. or Sun. My only access to the internet is my phone and when I'm at work.

Will you guys be reviewing all the portfolios posted in the signup thread or is it just the people who are able to log on and participate live?

Sounds like it might be related to your java or application settings associated with your browser. You may just need to update your java. Here's a list of supported systems + software - blackboard collaborate system requirements - hopefully that will help!

Hi Angela! I was trying to watch the recorded reviews and once I used the password and clicked play recording I got the message: Could not load Elluminate Live! recording. I'm not too tech savvy with this stuff so I wasn't sure what to do to be able to watch? (I was able to watch some of the live review on Friday)

Angela, thank you for your suggestion, but I already had the newest version of Java installed on my computer when I was trying to watch these, and I also tested it in three different (and all totally up-to-date) browsers. I have been able to watch previous blackboard videos without any problems. It's just this video that won't work. But now I can't even get that far since trying to access any of the links just says that the activity is currently hidden!

Is there one happening right now? It says there should be in the schedule, but the link doesn't redirect to the blackboard page or anything.

Edit: Argh. I kept rechecking the link and eventually the download link showed up. For some reason it wouldn't let me watch it live though. Is there a different place we're supposed to view it live?
