Nice to see you keeping up with your studies. My advice would be to keep focusing on the basics and construction, study anatomy books to help you better understand how the figure works. Keep going!

Its been too long since I've dropped in on your sketchbook, stuffs looking quality as usual
Definitely doing the right things - studies, anatomy, still life, imagination. can't go wrong really! keep it up
Oh and on that last point, you are improving. keep up the confidence, we know its a long path and theres not going to be many points where you've made huge improvements in one day so just keep at it
I plan to check back here more often so make sure you're posting plenty - I'll be watching

Hey, Just took a look through all the pages of your sketchbook and your human anatomy has improved a lot since your first post! Sometimes when you get that feeling of 'arghh my work looks horrible' it just means you're improving and noticing the mistakes you had overlooked before. Don't get discouraged if you skim through your sketchbook from the beginning to now, you'll see the improvements .

Keep up this level of hard work and studying and you'll improve and the most important thing, don't give up! (Also your mind drawings are coming on leaps and bounds, I need to practice imagination drawing to implement what I'm learning to! plus you're only 16 or so about 10 years younger than me and you're already doing what I wish I had done when I was your age!!)

This and the hands are signs of HUGE improvement.
You're getting much better and are at a point where just keep doing those gestures and figures, watch instructional videos online,
    there are plenty here: http://www.ctrlpaint.com/about/resources/

and your skill will improve with time. keep at it. and observe things like.. the proportions of men's pecs to shoulders... and necks on women. observe from professional illustrators and from life.
Then copy and paste using your mind (apply) them to your drawings
    Glad to see the improvement.

JonHop: hey there, thank you a lot for visiting my sketchbook here i really try to practice a lot (especially human anatomy at the moment) sometimes "not giving up" is a quite hard thing for me but i'll do my best to ignore that and try to hang on. cheering words help a lot with that... thank you (:

Sporus: thanks for the link , i checked it up and the videos seem to be pretty helpful with digital painting. i'll try to keep myself drawing as much as possible to hopefully improve a bit step by step. and thank you sooo much for daring to have look at my sb once again. i really appreciate it.

so here's some new stuff from mind

    Nice sketchbook.

My advice would be to draw more hands. Also some studies focused entirely on gesture of arms doing different things so that you can familiarize yourself with range of motion that wrist has.

    Cheers.

Yo, you have a quite nice sketchbook ... I think about writing german ... ahh lieber nicht xD
advice: before using tons of pen ink, try to master the pencil by drawing light presketches and exact redrawing with a darker pen, also a pen is better for pressure control

Neyut: hallöle thanks for stopping by ^^ thanks for the advice.. well i guess that i'm just trying to use diffrent mediums for drawing. i heard very often that it's good to use pens etc because so you are forced to think a little bit more about where to set a line 'cause you aren't able to erase. i guess i just like ballpoint pen more than fineline-stuff cause you can shade a bit more. but i sure will try to use the pencil, too

today was a bit messy so all i have is a 'just-4-fun' doodle of.. whatever
looking forward to do some studies tomorrow

Your imagination work is definately improving with each post. Just keep tackling those fundamentals and everything's going to be beautiful in no time. Wish someone had told me that 'bout ten years ago when I was your age... Can't stress enough the importance of drawing from life, so definately keep drawing those hands even if it seems hard at first. I know I will, haha.

Those Hampton studies are looking really nice and I'm sure you'll learn a lot from him. I'm currently studying the same book and have to say I find his method of building the figure lot easier than say Bridgman.

ismo: thank you so very much for having a lookt at my sb and you're right, i think hampon's method is way better to understand than bridgman's. yea, i often hear that it's quite useful to draw a lot of still-lifes. i hope to get some time to do more of this stuff soon... cheers

anyway, some request i finished today
