Day 4: mostly analogue, traditional stuff. But I did this just now just to have something to actually upload.

Eightball_: Thanks, bro. I have something planned for it, but I need to do some thumbnails and shit, and I need to do some tree studies. Have to do tree studies...
Anyways, yeah, this week I've been on a roll. Always trying to upload something every day. It works wonders, shit. I'll keep on truckin', thanks.

Day 6: Well, that was yesterday. I had to go do some family related stuff. So, to make up for that, I've uploaded a couple sketches I've done lately.

Day 7: Not my day. Way too late in the nighttime to be painting, but I did it anyways. I'm not finished YET, but I'll post an update tomorrow, when I hopefully finish.
I totally forgot about the overarching project I was supposed to do. I guess I was busy. But it doesn't matter; what I was trying to do was to get myself to update every day. I want this to be a habit that I don't want to break, and I want this to get me working more. I need to paint more.
Sadly, the next couple of days I probably won't update as much as I should. An exam is coming up, and I'll have to devote a lot of time to it. I hope I have the capacity to do so, hahaha. I really do.
After that though, I'll do the same thing again. I'll post every day if I can.

Well, uh, I'm back. Don't have too much to show for it.
Took a day off after the exams and shit, but I think I'm
    back in a groove. Kinda.

Did some experiments since I was shit at painting today.

Back... Again, with some new stuff.
Did a Bouguereau study that took me about 9.5 hours.
So, fucking, haaarddd. learned a whole lot though

also did some environments. One of which I am actually pleased with. I'm sorta getting it now, actually, which is satisfying.

    Hello there Toffers,

I really like your smooth brushwork.

That last goblin ambush piece is really awesome. How did you organise your color scheme ( imagination, reference, preset color palettes ?)
I'm currently having trouble doing that for my enviros.

IsaacEs: Thanks, man. I'm doing several more different things to try to get out of my comfort zone, I just don't...show most of them, heh.
I have one in this update though, the "industrial design environment" thingie.

Kevin: Thanks a lot! I have no idea how people can like my stuff, least of all my colors. I think they're atrocious.
If people like them, though, that means I'm doing something right!....Right?

Tea of Doom: Hello there, right back 'ya, mr. Tea (oh god I'm so sorry).
Thanks for all of the compliments; it means the world to me to know that people like this stuff.
As for the colors, I'm not quite sure how I would classify my "choices". They're mostly random, but I think
about them in this order: Value->temperature-> actual hue. I got the idea from:
    http://www.artpad.org/blog/2012/7/10/process.html
You can also see some similarities in the way I try to render. Doesn't work too well, but ehh.
I have a speedpainting video of the process somewhere. I'll find a link in just a sec.
    Edit: Right here :

So I did something new, something old, some composition sketches and so on. Just stuff.

I have a bunch of traditional stuff, and some shitty digital plein air paintings if you're interested?
I won't bother uploading them if that's not your cup of tea, so to speak. I have to use a camera,
get the lighting and distance right and oh god...

Looking good man, you're improving fast. I love the textures in your work, something I struggle with. Favourite pieces so far are the second Game of Thrones study, the one in the thumbnail in the first post, and this one:

Draconius:It's weird how people like my landscape paintings.
I don't do them often enough. I should paint more, oh dear god...
    Thanks though!

Jovian M: Thanks, I'm trying to have more balanced paintings lately,
but I suck at it. I've gotten flak for going a little too dark (like, 95%
value, dark), so I'm sort of afraid of going there too much, but I'm sort
of achieving a greater balance lately. Thanks a lot for liking my stuff!
I do it for people like you, and, well, for other people that just like my stuff... and kinda for those who hate it as well?

Did a self-portrait from a mirror. Hard as shiet, man. I also did a
quick sketch of a horseshoe crab man for one of mah homies back at the bay12 forums.
