    Feng Zhu crystal brush?

Hi guys, I've been fruitlessly trying to replicate the crystal brush feng uses? Does anyone know how to make it? I'm a complete newbie to photoshop (I'm normally a corel guy). I know people are going to say brushes don't matter but please hear me out on this, i really like that type of brush and need to use it.

What brush is this? I have no idea what you're talking about.

He's referring to a brush used by Feng in some of his youtube videos (you can see him use it and specifically mention it in the fantasy landscape and paint studies videos.)

I tried to see if it was posted anywhere and I turned up bupkis. It does seem like a nice little brush, but honestly you could probably rig up something with similar results using a texture photo as a basis for the brush. Judging from how it's used, you'd want something that looks rounded (but rough) on the bottom, with a lot of jaggies on the topside. It honestly does look like a silhouette of a crystal growth, hence the nickname.

Knowing how feng sets up a lot of his brushes, it probably just has size set, with maybe flow as well, and opacity turned off. It also looks like angle jitter is set to pen tilt, but I'm not too sure.

I'm subscribed to his channel but wasn't connecting what that brush was, it's hard to tell because the vids are speedup. Playing around with angle, scatter and texture should give you similar results.

I think it's just a standard chalk brush. Can't believe I've watched all his youtube videos and can't remember exactly do'h.
He does tell you on his videos however. Just check more of them out
