my concpet art portfolio so far

my work with concept art has been very fun, i love the way i can imagine something and then put my thoughts into a visual portrail. i create charicters that i find work to my skills and i use colour schemes that i think compliment my compositions and techniques. i have recently started useing a style that i call rib cageing. this is my way of constructing a form through adding thick strips of layerd colours to create a surface that looks more realistic and has better movement. i have been experimenting with this idea and i think im progresing with it realy well. the images i am posting now are from my last project in college where i had to make a project brief for myself. i desided to make mine on charicter design because this is my main focus. i will add more pictures of my recent work as i produce it and i hope you could take the time to share any thoughts you have on how i could progress.

this is my second final piece that i created. it was ment to play of the other piece because it had very calming colours and had a contrasting lay out

I desided to alter my final piece by dresing her in a catwoman costume, i did this because it worked well in the project and showed a good conection to one of my sorces of research, Adam Hughes.

i tried out painting a charicter that i have a good perseption of. i enjoy the mood you can get just by making an image of batman, as long as you use the corect colours and get the face to look scary and dark. i wanted to paint the details and have a go at my ability to use colours well and make textures
