Yep, I try to visit sketchbooks again, I'm subscribed too many and I'm always in Critique Center instead of drawing

I hope you will have some time to update in the near future (and I don't know what happened with the pictures that hadn't shown

), I'm always ready to see some more nice sketches or anything else from you.
Good luck at the Uni as well

(I was a Uni student as well but I was a lazy programmer

Lovely watercolor painting

A few well chosen strokes building up an arm, I wish I could do that

I only touched watercolor 2 times not counting the times I was a kid... But I don't let it flow and do what it wants despite the fact it's why I like watercolor... I need a more playful approach I guess.

I strongly feel that way about watercolours, even still. I probably wrote that sometime ago

Hey Shinin ^^ You really should play with some watercolours

I started out by just placing a few chosen splotches of colour here and there throughout my first moleskine. You learn to manipulate the paint over time, I still struggle with it immensely at times. I was out two days ago, and forgot the cold affects how watercolours dry... I was really bummed out because I had this nice landscape that I just had to colse the book on... The paint wouldn't dry >< It was so frustrating

Haven't had alot of time lately to do much drawing at all due to Uni. Must say i've missed it terribly. Here are some 2-3 quick studies done at a medieval fayre today while I was there for the whole 25 minutes -_- I'm on holidays shortly, so I will be able to post more soon.

Here's a small update. The first is a collograph plate I haven't printed on yet, but it's so pretty I had to take a decent scan. Second is a wren drypoint for a series, and the third is one of the nicer pages of scribble from my sketchbook. I'll be uploading alot more over the next few weeks - I have 6 weeks off from Uni thank goodness

Playing around with watercolours again. Uni is finally finished for the year, so I plan to post alot more

Both were done with no ref, just to wind down. I think I will work on a series of these to see how they develop.

A1 size drawing done for my memory project for Uni. I really like how it turned out, as I only use based references for the shapes in the image. Alot of it was done off the top of my head, and I'm really proud of that lol. Anyhow, Arange of HB-5B lead pencils, and around 45 hours work.

Pose was drawn from an image by Matt Archambault.

Skyrim nerdery kicking in at the moment. Been trying to work on getting used to digital work, and have found I adore Painter 12. So, a wisp WIP.

Been on a bit of a drawing binge since Uni is over for the year. I've been working mainly to improve my digital stuff, so hopefully we'll see more of that. A few sketches, A Skyrim fanart and the final piece is an illustration I've been working on for the past few days of a friend's fiction writing.
