Where the hell do those clients get off. I was offered a comic job and it went like this.

Client-Can you do it for $100

Me- 100 a page can work.

Client- No for the whole comic

Me- Ad two zeros to your page count and that's how much it's going to cost.

Client- But I only have 100

Me- So you only want one page?

I never heard from him again.

Well he wanted to split the profits. But honestly I didn't think the script screamed out best seller and it didn't seem like it would be much fun to draw.

Maybe your Adobe Flash Player is corrupted and you need to reinstall it? Blip and youtube both run on that program, and so do alot of internet ads.

So I got a psychiatric evaluation today just because my insurance would cover it.

The doctor said that there was no need to ever see him again.

At least I had something interesting to do today.

I don't know what it is..... if it's my taste buds or something......
    But... I ... hate.... ... beer.....
I mean I'll drink it if I'm at a party and there's nothing else.
But every kind, every brand, it all tastes like Ass to me.
I will never understand when people casually drink a beer.
They're not even trying to get drunk or buzzed. For the taste.
It seems to be a big thing too. I can't drink something that tastes like ass
with any intention besides getting a bit drunk. It's not an acquired taste either for me.
I've drank plenty. Never tastes less like ass.

It's funny. I can handle any other alcohol. Rum, Scotch, Whiskey, Tequila.
But beer I have to drink too much ass to get even buzzed.

I don´t like beer either, i have tried a few kinds, but won´t do, not just because of the taste, they never settle well. I always feel bloated and very nauseated afterwards.

I am not a drinker anyways, and i realized last weekend that if you haven´t tried alcohol for a long time even a couple drinks can go straight to your head, is like a muscle, if you don´t use it you´ll lose it.

I should of posted sooner but I keep forgetting,I've fixed my video problems, essentially all I had to do was disable Chrome's built in flash player and manually install the flash player from their website.Type in chrome://plugins/ into the addess bar and it will bring up a list of plug-ins,flash should be there.

I had no idea Dick Blick had physical stores! One's opening up downtown.

Hopefully it's better than the Utrecht that opened up a few years back.

EDIT: Yep, looks like I'll finally be learning Flash. Because really, it's just another Adobe program. And I'll have alot to gain from learning it. Still doubt I'll ever personally use it, but whatever...

Finally I found something that validates the existence of utensil designers. A Death's-head moth smoke detector! I can hardly wait getting freaked out every morning by a gargantuan monster moth hanging from my ceiling.

Just participated in a community activity and it was awesome.
For a while just working on my art was directionless, slow and unmotivated.
Doing the community activity was just different... enough for me to work harder and forced me to be more resourceful in a short amount of time.

Also finished The Wolves of The Calla by Stephen King! It was sooo worth it for the last few pages before the epilogue!!!
OMG this threads on page....... 19

You're probably reacting to the hops in the beer, which provide the bitterness that's there to offset the sweetness of the malt. Do you feel the same even with (shitty tasteless) beer like Corona, Sol, etc?

    I have a sketchbook too.

Do you live in America J? If so, it's probably because the beer there tastes
    like watery piss.

Yes it's very sad for me to admit. I didn't realize that it was america in particular that had crappy beer until I went to europe. Sure the choices are more limited, but they had good beer everywhere and it was cheap too. My favorite was the Czech Budweiser. As it turns out Anheiser Busch ganked the name but not the recipe. At least 'Merica has bourbon.

I usually go for a 3 to 4 mile walk in the evening. Sometimes an ambulance or police car will go by with it's siren on.

Never fails to get the suburban coyotes howling back at the sound.

    Always amusing. . .

Yet, corroborates the tragedy of all the Lost Pet posters on the utility poles imploring me to be on the lookout for someones "elderly, part blind, lame cat. . ."

Hahaha. Yes I live in America. Yet to taste any real foreign beer. Could be it. I don't know I've tried a lot. Most brands just most taste shitty to me. I go to liquor stores with friends before parties and just tell them "Pick out your favorite beer". They pick their favorites. Still ass to me lol.

J- If I let my friends pick the beer every time I would be stuck with seirra nevada or some other expensive crap out of a microbrew. Luckily most of the good imports are around. Here is a list of my favorie beers.
Saporro, Guiness, Stella, Pilsner Urquell, New Castle, Old Speckled Hen, Shinerbock and when bulk and budget take priority I'm cool with PBR or Tecate.

Made a cover. Spent a week on it.
    Boss likes it.
    Art director dosen`t.
Making a whole new cover now.
That would be...seventh in a row for this title.

Worst part is - they don`t quite know what they want. They just don`t like it. Or, they like it, but it`s not "IT". And now I have to telepathically figure it out.

I said - let me make sketches. They said - we don`t have time for that. And now my time is being wasted. Great.
    I love my job.

Also, I`m being punished for being a lazy idiot and not sorting out all the papers, so - I`m not getting paid as well.

@Star Eater - Nope. I`m now officially welcoming myself into the club, if you don`t mind.

I`m just...SO frustrated right now, you know. And being the only "illustrator" there, I have nobody to do a serious paint over and analysis of what is wrong. And how to set up the composition and...ugh. And it`s been like that for a month now, ever since I started. They need a pro, a cheap pro at that, not me.

I`ll suck it up, nothing else I can do. No turning back. Mental health and free time are overrated anyway, right...?
