To mastery or bust. 
Recently I've been going back and revisiting old works, and decided to give some attention to this. The concept behind it is a world where magic-possessing humans inhabit, and their powers naturally distort the land around them. Or something like that.
I think I've just been looking at it too long and could use a second opinion. I've been trying to flex my from-imagination muscles but not opposed to reference.

it would help to calculate more accurate shadows and a stronger direction for the light. Right now they seem off for the shapes you have.

Also values and tangents are making it confusing - whether things are floating or balanced on the landscape.
Pay attention more to the planes of the landscape and the light/values. Right now you have an essentially flat foreground plane...with a blue sky...in a snowy/arctic environment...and you painted it black.

It reads pretty well as a thumbnail (it's what caught my eye as I was scrolling down); the water/reflection looks nice as well.
As Jeff mentioned, that foreground is pretty confusing.
