Here's the Majora one, a little less than half way through the build. Then after that I'll play with rendering it out and little tweaks with the composition here and there.

Another idea for her, I like this one more. Some studies to come! Work and school has been insainly busy this past weekend. But I'm still gonna keep going!!!

A few more things I sketched up but didn't go with. Also been up to a bunch of more metal studies, but I an't postin those cause those, while there were quite a few, they weren't something I'd be postin.

Ultra busy at work and finals week in school so this is the first post in awhile, and probably the last for a tad too. But lets play it by ear.

Holy shoes, I love those figures at the top of the page! How they get pulled back and forth in space and have this creamy smooth dimensionality - awesome. The Majora picture is also great! And the posing for that final in your most recent post is awesome--dynamic without being obnoxious about it.
Good to see you using that Cesar for all he's worth, too.

@CR Faerber I wasn't sure if I wanted her to have a top on. I went through a few tops but I wasn't happy with them. Right now they're there though. And thanks.

So I brought this one a bit further. I'm unhappy with the background/face/hands and am probably going to study those things and then come back with a plan. Instead of spending a few more hours doodling on top of this I'll probably just restart the same piece.

I could use critiques at this point if you have any.

Not much of a critique, more of an observation: the lower half of her right leg/foot/ankle looks a little askew. May just be me. In general, her feet are angled in a position that makes it look rather uncomfortable. Everything else is fantastic, though. Your shading and light is immaculate.

@Pyre Thanks. I was bothered by the foot too, and thats what most people pointed out.

So here is a quick sketch of fixes and changes I've made. I wanted to change the lighting to maybe a moonlit scene. Going back to my original sketch's mood. I'm still messing around with the armor and design. I like the pose a lot more though. Even if it is seemingly similar, look again ;]

Reworked pose, changed the bg colors so they were more cold than warm (Which made no sense) and she's currently pretty desaturated, almost to a dull grey. I'll rework that in a bit. Now I'm doing design.

Design ideas 1-6, all just quick doodles overtop but they get the point across. Hmmm which one to go with.

So I bet you've found yourself asking "Where is Zesiul" or "how come Zesiul hasn't been posting?" Well theres a very long explanation to that, but lets just say it was a perfect storm of procrastination and laziness. Whatever the case I'm here right now to post. And give a slight update. WOO. Now first I'll say I've spent way too damn long on this warrior in the woods piece. So I'm putting my foot down. I'll deal out no more new ones, this IS 100% the final piece, just have to sort it out. No more running to a redo.

Second, I've been gone but I've not been out! I've gotten a great book that has really made me enjoy pencil drawing again. And helped me with understanding how to draw whats in front of me. So with todays post I'll show you some pencils!

So here it is! The first post in almost a month!

You seem to really enjoy character work and it shows, those are looking great! You might want to play with some lost edges in the last piece as she kind of looks cut out and pasted on, just try some soft edges around the feet maybe?
