King Kong,
first real attempt at a proper painting on photoshop.
Did earlier ones a couple of years ago using line art.
This one based of a reference image from the film.
Any thoughts, comments and CRITIQUES are appreciated!
More work to follow!!

Bobba Fett!
Painting on photoshop, completed a few days after my King Kong one.
A lot more texture work involved in this, especially on the top of the helmet.
CRITIQUES please...

Painting of Bane from the up and coming film The Dark Knight Rises
Based of a reference image, added rain as a last minute touch to give the image a more dynamic feel than a pain black background.

A compilation of rough space vehicle concepts.
This book sits at my desk and is pretty much what I fill up when meant to be doing other things... like assignments for university.
Hope to render a few of these up some day soon.
I love the progress shots on Boba Fett. It's really useful to see the path really good finished pieces take, thanks![]()

Basic silhouettes of some conceptual speeder bike designs.
Total done in about 15min.
Just smashing out ideas.
Nice adam! your finally here. i shall resurrect my sketchbook so as not to be outdone.
Some tips; if your gonna dump a tonne of pics like this, just throw them all in one post. easier for people to process, and they know it was all put up at the same time. Secondly and most importantly, scale some of those pictures down! theres no way to veiw the pictures in a smaller window like DA. So posting them at a smaller res makes them easier to proccess + means you can actually see the picture as opposed to having to scroll the page to see the whole thing if you know what i mean.
those sketchs are by far my fav pieces here. keep it up man!

My Sketchbook
Look forward to it! I reckon that painting of the snowy mountain you did is just awesome!
Yeah the original ones I posted were massive! Then I made them small and it still seems they aren't small enough as I posted them on my monitor and am now on a laptop. May have to change that!
Cheers, do still enjoy sketching the most out of everything!

A collection of pages from my wee sketchbook.
I guess in a sense all these are related, as in they all form some race of people out of my imagination. From what i've drawn they have defiantly mastered space travel and are reasonably high tech.
I like the idea of the electricity powering the hard gun and may look to use that concept in a few more vehicle concepts... much like the trusty pod racers, but instead the electrical current powers the machinery instead of holds it together. Who knows.
