Man, you draw like...a fuck load!! I thought the first page would never end (in a good way, I mean). All your sketches look great, you are really getting down to it, and I can tell you used to draw because those first pages of Loomis took me ages whereas you seem to have mastered the basics in hours

Not a real update today just some random sketches I did at work today to help take my mind off the passing of probably the best friend I've ever had. Hes was takin from us in a pedestrian hit and run early Saturday morning...

Here is a new one just used watercolors and a ballpoint pen. I colored my last entry with some washable markers and blended them with a watercolor brush Ill post it when I can steal it back from my girlfriend. This is also the 100th image I have saved in my digitized sketch book file! haha

These are some sketches from work recently. Plan on sketching this weekend on my days off in between some Diablo 3 that is... I realize these are complete shit but this is a sketchbook thread and I think its pointless not to post everything.

I'm going to try and keep these posts smaller because I noticed when I cleared my cache that the first page takes forever to load all the images. Which probably deters some users from taking the time to view my sketchbook. So this is a continuence of the last post. I need to start taking some reference to work because Its so evident I need to work on my anatomy much much more.

Your figure drawings and gesture are looking good.
I notice you tend to have ''fuzzy'' lines in your drawings, as if you're going back and forth to solidefy a line or contour.
If this is the case, are you drawing from the wrist?
if so try doing some gestures with your arm instaed of wrist to loosen up.

@ Lumens - I can see what you mean and yes some times I do tend to draw from the wrist but lately I've been using my elbow and shoulder. I just draw intirely with pen and start out really sketchy too that has some to do with it. Thanks for the crit.

Your alchemy stuff is amazing! The hand studies look great but the first female studies are kinda off. You might need to reference some of those and im not saying look at porn, but porn might help.. your alchemy stuff is really awesome, really inspiring actually, I have tried my hand at it but it isn't as great as yours, will have to work on mine allot. and like your anatomy studies too. Oh and I see you doing some vehicle perspective studies as well, how are you studying it ? I am having a super tough time with vehicles. :/

Really strong dedication here, keep the pace going. Keep tackling those Loomis studies as well, they'll greatly help you get a better understanding of the basics and anatomy.

Thanks Razen and to answer your question anywhere between 10mins to 30mins on the newest ones and some of the older ones maybe an hour now I just sit there with the pullshapes tool with the bones folder and just go nuts till I see something "In the clouds" and carve out what I see with the shapes and pressure shapes tool. If I don't see anything I wipe it clean and start over. Thats where a lot of my time goes.
