Hey there! I decided to stick with human studies; faces always were problem so I wanted to sketch a bit of those. As you can see I started out crappy, but learning goes fast. I think I'll move to muscles for some time, then come back to faces and that'll hopefully be all for humans

i guess u are doing too much perspective. No offense but a suggestion.

My suggestion is directly start drawing the machines/industrial design you want to draw. if you require perspective for any part, than practice that corresponding part in perspective.
That's what I do, may be that may suit u as well.

anatomy of woman is the most difficult, those curves if gone wrong a single pixel , u get craps.
    Tried some rendering of skin.

That's the whole point of these studies... They are the prerequisite for the mechanical designs because you do those based on this method. You need perspective constructions (unless you can do them in your head, but you learn that by doing these) for every part in industrial design, except for orthographic views.

braineater, why not start over again?
And maybe we'll find some other members who would like to join later~

So, how about we start again with the basic shapes rendering?
    This is gonna help.
I'll start uploading as fast as I can.Too bad my scanner isn't working atm.

Hi guys, cool to see you wanna start this up again! Here's my first go, I couldn't really figure out what was happening with the reflected light on the pyramid in the back. And the small pyramid looks like it's floating! Back to the drawing board.

    let's do this (:
unfortunately i won't have that much time since school keeps me pretty busy at the moment
maybe i'll use one of those references from the thread above, too. just need to get a little time.
however, here is at last something close to this...did this some time ago from imagination (crappy contrast. will work on that)
