How to use the cover sheet translucent ? (intuos4 M)

    Hello,

I purchased an Intuos4 M this week, this is my first wacom tablet.

I want to protect the surface against scratches.

How to use this "Cover Sheet translucent" ?

    (I inquire before buying)

Should we take off the existing sheet (if so, how?) or should we apply it over?

Sorry for my english, im french and in using google translate.

    Thank you.

The cover sheets are replacements for the existing sheets therefore you are supposed to remove the existing sheet. This is done by lifting at a corner and peeling it off. There should only be a little glue, if any, at the edge. However, some people place the translucent sheet ON TOP of the existing sheet. It makes the drawing surface quite thick and perhaps a little spongy but works fine if you don't mind that. I think there are instructions with the product.
