I really enjoy the classic surrealist qualities of these. Nice job!

    a) They are cool paintings and I like your technique
    b) you really need to tell us when you have copied another artist's work.

Copying isn't wrong (I mean how many copies of the Mona Lisa have been painted over the years), but not telling people leaves you open to charges of plagiarism, copyright infringement, etc. I'm absolutely sure that wasn't your intent but you need to be safe...

You are right but I find this pics over the internet and I dont know the name of the artists, I like them and put them in my vision, also the language barriere is a difficulties to explain every things what I like to say, I use google translator. I start paint ( after 13 years from last contact with brush) when I find conceptart, great organization, inspiration and motivation, too many great artists, I hope they can live and earn money from his works, in my country you cant live from art. If my intent is plagiarism I dont post them, but I post them, my intent is to paint something which inspire me and for me not to get glory over someon elses works.
Thank you for your comment I hope that you understend what I say

Overkillex - I understand translation can be an issue, BUT - those were clearly someone else's work, and it took me maybe 2 minutes to find their titles and the artist's name - because the title and name were attached to the 1st copies that came up in google. This applies to photos as well - the photographer owns the copyright and you must acknowledge it.

If you are copying something for your personal enjoyment that is fine. But if you post work as yours that you copied from someone else that is dishonest. Don't make excuses.

    Hi

No you don't need to remove them, just remember to credit the artist, e.g. "I based this one on Hennig Ludvigsen's "The wall"".

the other one, by the way, is Hajieelkhe, by Linda Bergkvist.

    Cheers

    Message from Henningen

    Hello people,
I send mail with photo of the paintings to Henningen
    and he replay:

Hi, thanks for the images. You've got a really nice collection of paintings there, congratulations. Great stuff indeed :-)

Very interesting to see how you've interpreted my piece and made it your own. Well done :-)

    Thanks again!
    All the best,

Really nice oil painting skills dude!
A bit too much saturated colors for me, but I love your surrealist subject and your technical abilities are really impressive.

And I join Justa : When you copy an artist, don't forget to mention it. It's really important I think...
You can't just look at an image and copy it without knowing the artist's name for me. You can search inspiration this way of course, but for re-investing an artwork I think that you have to KNOW what's this artwork mean, by who it was created, etc...

Try to do a critic of the work that your copy and to respond the following questions :
    - Artist's name
    - What do the artwork mean to me, for the artist?

I'm not here to do a moral class to you LOL i'm 15 but, meditate about the fact that if you begin a reputed artist I think that you don't wanna see copy of your work without any mentions of their nature...
I keep trying to learn how to draw since I was 3 years old... except that I just understand that I have to pratice and that's all.
BTW i'm a french native speaker so my english can be really bad... I apologize...
