Spectrum Art Live! / Dragon Crane

Spectrum Fantastic Art Live this weekend! We are very happy to be doing a live sculpting panel on Saturday, and then presenting the Dimensional Silver and Gold Awards at the Spectrum Awards ceremony Saturday night.

This is the 'Dragon Crane' we have made specifically for this show which feels like the fantasy art Olympics! It is unfinished ( ddoohh!) These are the same two dudes who operate the Vertical Man-Tank, 1890.

Kansas City , MO here we come. Huge thanks to the Fenner's for including us!

Us presenting the Gold and Silver for Dimensional at the Spectrum Fantastic Art Live! Awards show on Saturday night.I felt like I was tabbing at this point , don't know why I was making this face. Ah well. The awards show was awesome. Tom Kuebler won Silver and Virginie Ropars won Gold. That was extra special because they were both there and Virginie's speech got everyone a lil misty.
Cathy and Arnie Fenner received a rousing standing ovation and it was well-deserved, they really put on a great event over the weekend. We've been to a lot of conventions and this was some high class stuff and something special for the fantasy art world.

Here is a great blog of it with photos-

Spectrum Sculpting Panel, from left to right, Tim Bruckner, Joshua Hoffine, Tom Kuebler and Virginie Ropars. Wish I would have caught more of this, just stopped in for a sec.

Sounds like it was a great show. The book is cool but getting to see all those artist displaying their work in one place must have been pretty amazing.

Do you know if anyone filmed the sculpting panel?
