    Hi bud
Just had to say the military style night scope idea with the robot dog thingies with guns on them was a bloody good idea, I was moderately blown away by that, as no one else has done anything like that to my knowledge anyhow.
The environment study or bashed up city made me smile too, I can think of several places that need a visit from those chappies do they just do precision strikes or could I book the total destruction of "Milton keynes" please?

just wondered, all the best mate and thanks for posting.

Your origami mechs left me in awe... It's like these things exist. Very original and wonderfully rendered concept.

I love how you incorporate painting with 3d to get the look in your designs. The image of the hyper-huge hollowed-out white cube buildings reaching above the clouds is my favourite! Also the Mystical Sword concept is awesome, as well as the minimalistic Honda car design. Amazing work!

Haha no way, you wont believe this but we looked at that exact animal like 3 weeks ago while doing mechanical pet research, and I ALSO got scolDed for calling it an armidillio then too. Stupid brain!!

thanks to all of you guys for having a look and commenting, yous guys are awesome!

Albino- back at you dude, youre a constant inspiration
reika Im afraid i was out of ideas and ive always like origami, like the ones in bladerunner, and thought it might be a cool quick way to machine-ise horses.
Bruce: haha not by training, but ive been lucky enough to be working with the TAD industrial design gang these last few months. its been awesome!!

I have to get a videocamera, i can get over how cool taking 24 photos a second, just following someone with a camera you capture so much expression and it gives you tonnes to choose from! i love the cheap grainy quality of phone pictures, the blown out whites and crap colours. its my generations polaroids.
did you ever see someone more italian in your life?

Okay, I've been working my way through this sketchbook planning on commenting on how much you've improved over 29 pages. But I ran out of patience at around page 16 so I jumped forward to the end. Hope I havent missed out on any important developments in there...

Anyway, even though I missed a bit out, I felt I should post a comment in here because you seem like an interesting dude and I like your artistic style. Cant make much sense out of the 3d work because it looks too clinical and goes over my head. But your figure studies are lovely, especially the ones stolen on buses and in cafes, and I really like your cars, especially the Defender and the green Porsche. Nice. And those running robot horse things are cool as fuck.

P.S. I didn't know you're only thirty. For some reason, I thought you'd be older.

Every time I come by I click on the five star rating, just to make sure. Each time it just tells me, "Your vote on this thread has been added." so I wonder if it is really convinced. Also, your somewhat sadistic habits keep me checking previous pages to see if you've edited in more cool stuff. But no worries, it is a good hunt. Haha.

I too enjoy the bedside lightsaber.

haha those fucking horses are awesome. The desert scene reminded me of the crazy chase scene from 'the good, the bad, and the weird' where the heros are trying to outrace the army and are getting rained on by the howitzers all throughout

    Hi there my mate

I hope you're well and only partially sober, I hate the world when I'm sober its such a miserable place filled to the brim with self important miserable people LOL.

I read in a post in here somewhere that you used to have a book with that famous Roger Dean image "the flight of Icarus" on the cover! and I have what I hope will be a pleasant surprise for you, follow the link and you can buy one for a mere tenner.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Flights-...7272259&sr=1-2

I have had a copy for a few years now and like you used to read it in the school library or whatever and be just blown away by the images inside. There was the Roger Dean one and another one called "mechanismo" (I think) that used to send me tripping! The Dean one I can find but the other still eludes me and I may have to resort to ebay to find it.
Anyhow I think that's the one you were on about mate, go on £10:00 for a bit of nostalgia is well worth it, there are some amazing images in there too.

all the very best bud, and don't get too sober its not worth it mate! LOL

Ha ha hello Lightship! Sorry about the text update, Ive been horrendously sober all week finishing a video game, its really quite unacceptable!
Thanks a lot for the tip, here on my shelf (piles and piles of disordered crap) I have Magentic Storm 1 and 2 and Views, but Ive not seen that one before. When I get paid Ill pick up a copy.
I wish Syd Meads books were similarly easy to get, I think it was Dpaint or JeffX99 who said they copies of Kronoteko and Kronovecta and Im seriously considering burglarising their homes!

I wonder are you thinking of Mechanika by Doug Chiang? Its not so old but its pretty awesome.
Doug is the only good thing about the hateful new Star Wars movies (apart from Harry Plinkett) and his work is ridic!

Steelie, youre totally welcome dude! You should save up and apply for a TAD scholarship, its loads of fun.

Yor, we have to collab on something. Actually from what I hear we might be anyway via our rodent pals..?

Sean: holy crap dude, i love the way he makes images. Thats given me some motivation to finish off this dull work and do something fun. Thanks bro!

Beautiful. But I'd be scared outta my mind to live on that habitat. I'd have constant nightmares about the thing falling into the planet's (Jupiter?) atmosphere, sinking down and eventually being crushed. :-)

ha yeah it would have to be all hooked in to the magnetic field or something, the sheer force on the base from that much stuff flowing past would be a major storm system. and it would be part of successively vaster ones right up to the great red spot itself. the engineering involved might never be possible using any kind of normal materials, or ever. who knows!

Groovy concept and textures on those last ones, but there's so much going on in the pics (well, mainly the very last one) that my eyes want file for a divorce. Okay, that's a bit much, but it's still super busy. Buzz buzz crit crit but remember i still love you and that wild lightspeed energy in your pics. Gogogogo!
