This is what I was working on today. Some of you saw me post the start of this before. Well I didnt touch it again until today, and now im working to surpass my rogue piece. Im realllly pushing my colors and knowledge. Hitting walls all over the place, but im learning a ton! I'll update you some more late

about this latest reworking, there's 2 things that rub me the wrong way...i did a small, rough paintover, i hope this helps explain what i mean:

1) compositionally, it feels like there's a lot of straights. both arms on the right side are straight. the sword is straight. both bodies are mostly straight. i feel like the weapons both lead the eye out of the painting. i changed the angle of the sword and the bow to keep the eye in the painting, and also added a shield to add different shapes and to keep the eye on the page (of course, it's not a good shield cause the shape is very similar to the breastplate she's wearing... ). these are all just examples, not saying that you need to make these exact changes, but just bringing some attention to them.

2) the angle of the lower girls head, and her overall pose doesn't seem very connected or grounded. she's holding a heavy sword, but she's not looking at anything in particular. she seems like she's actually floating, not really fighting, the sword seems really out of place. what if you brought her head angle down, and had her looking at something (in frame or out of frame)? that might connect her to her actions a little bit more.

just a little friendly nudge, i hope this helps dude. you're doing really well, so keep it up.

Updating/touching up some images for my portfolio. Printed it off and got it ready for FanExpo. Fixing this up showed me how far I need to start taking my work. I didnt even put much time into this. I want to have some really "finished" work in my portfolio for fantasy. I'll stay loose for my fashion and personal work.

I know no one looks here anymore, but I just wanted to tell you all where I am now.
I have been making and posting videos for youtube every Tuesday. These videos deal with life and art. I don't just do timelapses with music, or tutorials. I talk about issues I feel will help my fellow artists and other people.

Thanks!!! I wasnt expecting anyone to even see my post, haha. You know, I TRIED skateboarding, but i sucked. But longboarding felt right. So I stuck with. Which is funny...you'd think having control on one would automatically = control on the other. Obviously not the case for me, lol.
And niice, I cant drum...at all. I suckkk! But yeah, thanks again! So so soo much! Shares help me like crazy. Its really the word of mouth that works, since no one likes me, lol.
