It always helps to start comment on other sketchbooks if you want comments too. Giving and taking, that's the way.
About studies: do you know the Loomis books already? They are a very good for learning.
It's good to see you doing the pose maniacs drawings. But try to think less of the contour, but more of the masses. Take a look at Loomis "mannekin frame" (figure drawing for all it's worth) or at Bridgmans division of the masses. That can help you a lot

Very good start. You've never drawn humans before? hard to believe, like I said very nice. and don't be to hard on yourself.

Hi Jag welcome to CA, I'm glad you got your bike fixed, where I live the cold is slowly going anyway to make room for spring. I saw a lady bug today >___<

I think you are on the right track, keep drawing and work hard don't worry if you make anything crummy! We don't always make our best things.

This is not much more than a sketch atm. It is a request from someone who wanted me to draw her three characters, all girls.
The perspective feels odd according to my eyes, and since I've seen nothing but perfect perspective throughout my life it probably is odd as well ... but I don't want to battle with my mind any further, so I'll just let it be for now.

I want them to look surprised, which they're not in this picture. However WIP!

Still not hyper perfect and still just a sketch, with some anatomy corrections. TO BE CONTINUED-

Looking good! The perspective looks good to me.

Here's a figure drawing tool you might come handy: http://www.pixelovely.com/gesture/figuredrawing.php Hope it's helpful.

Curious if your girl drawing was referenced from posemaniacs? The drawn-on muscles, combined with the sort of slender stiffness to their poses is making me wonder - either way, you're looking pretty good on the anatomy front (especially the crouching girl), but they're all looking very stiff and posed. Not a lot of sense of weight, tension, or flow. I agree with shirobon; check out Pixelovely.

Also, the closest one does look pretty surprised; the other two don't have anything that speaks to that yet. They're just sort of hanging out. But like you said, WIP, and you are coming along well on it. =)

in2eternity, I felt I wouldn't earn anything from guesswork, and since it was a free request after all I thought, why not make it a study at the same time.
Revidescent, so very true. I made it easy by just googling female anatomy :> I agree with you, they really looked stiff and posed which eventually drove me insane no matter how many attempts of redrawing it. I scaled down the commission, zoomed in on one of the girls and called it a finished piece.
Here's the end result. I suppose it's good enough.

    And for today:
The guy isn't looking good at all, he's only there to show that I've started to doodle just for fun nowadays without caring about the result. haa
Backgrounds are exhausting! Won't put much more effort in it >_> that is, if I don't get any tips? Ah well, I suppose it's good enough however, and these last 2 pictures are only progress shots (everything drawn from imagination, just to make clear)

    Cool

Okay finally, for once, stepping out of the comfort zone haha?
Humans and people, drawing for the sake of drawing.
    Only just simply doing it.
The paint picture is exactly how I used to draw people, I really didn't have the right skills to make it any further. (The cow is drawn from a photograph by the way)

The last picture was me trying to draw a horse, just to see which result it'd lead to. It obviously didn't go that well, so I did a quick study of a real horse underneath. You can sure tell there's some difference
