Another study I did of a bug on a flower. I tried to be really quick. I think it took me 10 minutes.

Your last image is quite large but cool! Which part of jamaica you in? I was there for a few days to get my U.S. travel visa and I swear its like africa but in the carribean! Same type of friendly peeps and similar scenery

Crane I am in the process of ordering a crazy amount of cheap paper so I can finally draw without worry.
Hey everyone!! This is my second attempt at landscapes (pretty darn hard) I tried to get atmospheric stuff in there and well... not so good... but I will keep going! I am terribly sorry for the lack of updates but my drawing hand has been acting up lately. No clue what is going on there but typing and drawing has been painful ever since the Danbo piece. I hope for a speed y recovery or just plain figuring out what is happening!

Hey Eternal, would you mind a little crit?
I guess not since I assume that you want to improve.
The image looks like you didn't even look at the reference, it's completely different, every possible shape looks different than in the original. Also proportions of elements in comparison to others are all the way off (example: tree).
The mix of soft brush and lasso tool is a bad mix too.
I'd advice to practice to draw exactly what you see, not what you think you see, that's the thing that helped me with drawing studies.
From the other side I think that your gestures look good, keep going and don't give up
PS. I'm a beginner too but I hope that that little piece of advice will help you.

Drawing hands in general will help, but i find it's important to learn also learn anatomy of the hand. Hogarth & Bridgman give some good insight into it. Photographs will help you understand the variations in how a hand can look. And much like everything in art, you basically will never master it. It's always worth doing these studies over and over again even if it's review.

Life decided to throw me a kick in the face and knock me down
on my ass.
In the hospital for awhile got out 4 days ago but on high dosage for pain.
I will make a proper reply soon went through the studies its good.
I bought that drawing essentials book by deborah rockman i think from amazon its on its way.
Charcoal was just a way of me taking the easy way out but I will have a proper reply in time coming when I dont feel so distorted

@Azu Dude! No sweat! Sometime a knock-down is what happens and honestly I am going through that right now. Just ride the wave. When your chance comes again to attack, go at it full force.
I am here trying to get my wrist sorted out before I do any further damage to it (haha) as soon as that is cleared up i will be back with a vengeance. I have learned to try and enjoy the journey now. Art is a LOT more than drawing. You can nurture the creative side by reading and filling yourself with good ol' righteous knowledge! Be a smart artist!

Hey man i love the moving bed it looks really animated great stuff. It's also great how much patience you have with perspective i find its easier to make a nice perspective drawing cause you can draw your guides and then its just a question of following it. Try and gain that kind of patience in your drawings as well and they will come out a lot better as well

Hey everyone it's you fav Jamaican! I am still recovering froom that hand injury and it's not 100% but getting there... slowly. Gotta keep positive! Been trying to strengthen the arms a bit to see it that helps too so I am training to get to 100 push ups!! YEAH!
After almost, if not 3 months of no drawing I decided to get back into it slowly to see how I was doing/had lost all that I had worked for. Sadface.jpg
