    any CalArts grads, students, staff, faculty?

    Hi friends.
    I was recently accepted to CalArts' School of Art, and I'm looking to hear experiences and insights from those affiliated with the school. How is life in Valencia? Do you feel your career has benefitted from CalArts?

    Also, I am considering appealing for financial aid in a letter. Thoughts? Is this a no-no?

    THanks for any and all advice. Timez iz tuff.
