Keep it up, they look very realistic again nice rendering

about the chow, I think upper body around tits, arms is a bit messed up , try to find more references to get it right. Work on the face, hair more and make sure the girl is in focus, then drake, then the rest behind, now it's kinda too much flat, no field of depth

Wow, very nice work in here.
Love the way you handle skintones, and smoothing stuff down.
Do you use the smudge tool for that?

For a crit, I dunno, keep working hard!

I'm really impressed by your work, what you call "quick sudies", I call that more of a goal for me ^^

Since I'm really beginner I have no advice of course, but as a "spectator", the first thing to come is "wow !" and then "but there is something strange about those eyes..." (not for all your work though). At first it was quite difficult to find why I feel this way but I think I got it now. I'm not sure but well, you do what you want with it ^^ (I'm bad in english, so I hope I will be understandable...)

First thing : for a few of your paintings, the eyes are too wide, the ballshape of the eye seems to be biger than the eye socket of the skull.
Second, the eyes seems in ceramic ! Maybe they are too white and/or it's a matter of specular shape (or too many specular points in some). Also pupil and iris seem plated on the eye, I don't feel the flat iris inside the cornea and the whole for the pupil.

I put two pictures to explain because I'm not sure to be clear (even in my own language so in english.... ^^). The first is just a picture of the anatomy of the eye I found on internet to show how the bumpy iris is quite flat inside of the cornea and the whole which make the pupil.
The second is just a quick picture I made for what I understand of the way the light "travel" in the eye, I don't know if it's accurate, maybe I'm complety wrong with it...

Again, your rendering are stunning, but I though that working with the anatomy of the eye in mind could add more depth, life and personnality to your figures.

Hey thanks for all the feedback guys!
Rastaray - yeah, but i dont usually post it b/c i dont have a scanner
harmageddon - no just a hard round brush usually
theotenai - thank you very much for the advice i'll keep working on it!
    KevMcGivern - thanks man!

Not a big update, some crappy sketches and a slightly longer study (3.5-4 hours or so)

P.S. I know that the blonde in the maroon shirt has a head thats way too big, but i got really lazy =*(

I like NSFW threads. You know...anatomy. Amazing portraits in here, especially the last one. Some of them lack in the drawing depatrment though and have that "I copied a photo" look. Just my opinion.

    Cheers!

Wow guys thanks for all the kind words and encouragement! Yeah razz, alot of these are directly from photos, just trying to study hard but sometimes i get too focused on getting it right instead of learning i'll definitely keep working on it thanks for stopping by!

Heres some more studies, working with skin in different lighting situations and colors! also what would have been my entry for this weeks chow (didn't have enough time to finish) i'll probably leave it how it is, it's not quite done but i like it!.

Divine is indeed the proper name. Seeing your paints truly excites me to push for that sense of shape and form. Truly inspiring. My favorite is the dragon and female rider/knight/warrior.

nice sketchbook. You obviously love women and your skin texture shading is off the chain. any portfolio? what is your end goal, character design? (you do a lot of humans)-- or are you just a hobby artist? anyway good stuff. Look forward to more! Peace!

Poetry man - no portfolio yet, have to start working on one.

Something i've been working on for a bit didn't use any reference on this although it was inspired by some anime picture i found on my hard drive I might go back and finish it up, maybe.
Edit: Used a few bouguereau paintings as reference for rendering wings.
