Nice job! One thing I d advise is to watch the chroma (intensity of the color) on the red drape and the yellow support that the shower products are sitting on. Things in life are generally a LOT less intense in color then what we think they are and your painting will be easier on the eyes and more believable if your conscious of that. Save the intense color for a couple things in your painting that you wanna draw the eye to and you ll have a wider range of effects to play with i think.
i liked Nice pop
cool! you did a great job! A little busy but you got the reflections and highlights very well. You're miles ahead of me with oils.
Thanks ! Your advise is reasonable and useful, the color with too high saturation is not real and believable indeed...
Haha 谢谢~
WHAT'S THE MEANING OF "BUSY"? IS IT "haste"? MY ENGLISH IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, I'M A CHINESE.![]()
THIS PAINTING TOOK MY 6HOURS TIMES, IT'S TOO SHORT TO PAINT IT DETAILEDLY.
By busy he means theres a lot of different elements and different pieces in the painting. I would agree that simplifying the composition could make a significant difference as well. Good job overall though. Lets see another one soon!

I get it ~!
I think for a study it's great. I like the reflection of the bottle on the wall. Some very good observation has gone into it. Now that you understand busy, try to think is this is a picture you'd like to hang on your wall. If you cropped it down the whole picture would work a lot better - there's too much space around it for a successful composition. I look forward to your next work.
Doesnt everyones bathroom shelf look busy? At least I got a lot of stuff there which occasionally falls into the sink when I accidentially touch the things. ;-)
I would say well done and for my compositional taste there could be a bit more below the shelf.
Please post more!
