New at drawing with tablet

I'd love to learn how to draw better. I'm a make up artist and sculpter of special effects. This is my first time drawing with my tablet. I'd like to know if you guys could give some critique on how to change and improve, also videos would help greatly.

I currently don't know where to upload the pictures.

Start a topic in the sketch book thread, and start posting some work. The Art Discussion section has a lot of beginner threads that can point you in the right direction. Best of luck and happy drawing.

Go through some Andrew Loomis books http://alexhays.com/loomis/ (start with fun with a pencil)

Tons of into here too, start with some fundimentals and perspective 101. Theres also a wide range of videos but start with understanding basic perspective, shapes, and then go into value.

It takes quite a while usually to get into exciting stuff but even the best artists find themselves going back to the basics to strengthen their craft. So I suggest practicing those as much as possible but then trying to apply it to things you are interested in so you don't get bored. Have fun.

Oh my, I feel like staying up all night at drawing. When I start drawing and I see my art isn't the best it can be. I feel like staying awake. Oh. I love learning to draw. I'll check it out. Wow after readin the pencil book, I really do feel like staying up. Sad thing is I got parent's who think staying up past midnight is a bad thing. But sometimes the best ideas come to you while your sleeping right. As my sister once said your mind puts things in order into the correct slots while your asleep. I believe that fully.

I also like to take into consideration that a lack of sleep brings out the quirkier side of myself, my imagination becomes a bit more twisted when im on the verge of passing out.
