This is awesome, man. I'm starting to get into matte painting as well.

Question though. How did you make the buildings look like rubble? How do you add all that detail there?

Well entire trick is to find matching perspective of demolished building, or just angles you are chasing(want to demolish)
Then place demolished building layer on top of original building, place mask(so that you can see original one intact) and paint in the mask parts you want to be seen as demolished
