Some more recent stuff
Trying out MyPaint with this one
Never been too good with traditional art so I'm trying to do more traditional than digital lately.

Nice stuff you got there, I like how varied your drawings are as well. The last drawing's my favorite.
I love your pixel art!
Thanks you guys.
Another Remington copy, same as last but larger and with ink.

Other stuff
Please excuse the poor digital camera quality, I really need to look into a scanner soon.
Thought I'd share this blog also, it's full of beautiful hand-painted Disney movie backgrounds. Good inspirational stuff.

This is a great start!! nice SB. That acrylic painting of the cowboy is amazing, and I really dig you pixel landscapes they're beautiful
Thanks for dropping by my SB, I appreciate the feedback.
You have a great start to your SB here. That Remington study is AMAZING; the fact that it's in ink just makes it all the more impressive.
Are you studying from any books/classes right now?
QPK: So glad you like my 'scapes, they're probably my favorite things to work on because with concept landscapes there's so much freedom to interpret things as you want, no worry about incorrect proportions or bad anatomy.
Syle: Thanks. I'm not in any classes, I occasionally study from Bridgeman or Loomis' figure drawing books though.
A quick 'n' dirty

Nice sketchbook!. Digging the Dwarf and the guy in your last post, cool time period to draw from!
Thank you James Simons, glad you stopped by. Indeed, I have been a little obsessed with the pre-20th century themes lately.
More digital

A tool a day keeps the artist block away.
More to come

I love the pixel landscapes! The pixel tools really come to life. Excellent job getting them to look so three-dimensional at such a small size. Nice use of contrasting colors, too.
Hi matey
You could do with making the tools a bit bigger mate I have a ruddy big monitor and still I'm struggling to see them. The other stuff is coming along nicely though you seem to have a "Last of the Mohicans" era thing going which is good. I like that you are looking at things from history and not painting Orcs and flying saucers! There are loads of them around and I get so sick of them, this SB so far is a breath of fresh air, so keep working, improving and posting your work up here eventually you will pull in a crowd of admirers and top talent to help you on your way, good luck.
Thanks for posting and all the best with the art mate.

The finished tools and weapons
And sorry about the size, Lightship, this is the downside of pixel art. Here's a 200% scaled version

Super sweet work in here. Your progression is evident; keep going. The pixel art tools are really good.
Thanks Hellbeard, motivating words.

Almost two months since my last post, I must carry on.
This last month has been an unproductive one for me
a WIP figure, walking into a strong gust of wind carrying a large musket
And the finalized figure
