I'm crap at speed painting. So want to get better.
Here's todays, 15 mins.
Here's todays. A very accurate rendition on how I travel to work each day.
I'm also tryin' to marry my marker and digital stuff a little closer, or rather trying to make my digital stuff look more marker-like. Any feedback on comparisons or anything would be much appreciated.Thanks.
And a 15 minute speedpaint for today.

Thanks for your visit manYour style it's fantastic.Keep pushing!
DUDE!!!! loving your artworks man\m/ seriously inspiring =]]
Great stuffs! Liking the latest speedpaint but tongue-surfer rocks! hehe
With speedy stuff don't be afraid to go for more shape definition - basic shadow/highlights etc - feeling a smidge smodgy (yes yes it's a technical term ;P ) right now - but still cool keep it up!![]()

I can see you're having too much fun drawing. Stop it at once and be miserable like the rest of us.
Great stuff man. Makes me wanna try out markers![]()
Check your favourite Imaginary Friend's Sketchbook here (oh and don't forget to say hi)!
Hello!Great work the last time I've been here! I'm loving your ink work and the crazy design you come up with. Very refreshing and fun!
The digital/marker attempt looks good, but compared to your original marker work, the colors look a little dull. You use so much colors within your marker work that gives that watercolor/painted look. I think if you add more colors within your digital attempts, it'll look a little better. Keep up the great work! I always love looking in this sketchbook!
You sir, have an amazing sketchbook. I love your work! One of my favourites was the floating island in post

Thanks everyone.
nor: no probs, nice sb aye.
Gthm: thanks bud!
Ven: Thanks, your work is great. I used to colour more in marker a short while ago, now I'm trying to get back into digital more.
Artist: Smidgy is BAD! Thanks for the tip man I'll work harder on the details next round.
Black Spot: Haha, nevar! It's not worth doing if I'm not chuckling like a lunatic while drawing. ... and scaring people that walk past.
Imaginary: Thanks mate, really do give them a shot.
Aresa: Thanks! That's great advice I'll totally try to push the colours more.
Sharon: Thanks heaps, markers are fun once you get used to them (just... don't lean too close to them while working, you get dizzy).
Alex: Thanks heaps!
jon n: Cheers, just thinking of new ways to commute. ;P

Todays' is just a WIP, but it's a different mood to what I'm used to. For a friends band, music I don't normally listen to, but this one's been incredibly fun so far.
Edit: Yay! 5 star thread at last!!! Thanks heaps guys you rock.

Awsome color and designs, thanks fro stoppn by my sb!
The guy in the boat doesn't look like he's going anywhere and is slightly pissed off.
Tell the parrot he doesn't get fed until the fat bird sings.
Thanks Betty!
Aw thanks Alex, you're too damn kind! And also helloooooo fellow kiwi!!
Cheers Artist!
brentos, no prob, thanks for the kind words!
Black Spot, hahaha, man he really does. I'ma keep that for posterity, but i'll fix up his expression for the final, thank you.As for 'going nowhere', the album itself is called "At the End of All Things", so it'll feel more deliberate once that's on there. Thanks!
Been sick recently so haven't been drawing as much, just getting back into markers tonight before going to bed.
Calling this one "Rise up and get mad". I just started with two cube shapes and added to them, I'm surprised a half-decent concept / message even appeared like halfway through, but there you have it. This one was fun.
- Still trying to push my marker way of drawing more, just refining it more with the liberties that digital brings... any feedback would be really much appreciated. Thanks!
Wooow man! I love your style! It charges me with positive energy and makes me feel joyful and cheerful (unusual state for a goth, heh). Thanks for sharing, draw moaaar =)
I love this sketchbook I know a lot of skateboarders would kill to have your art on their boards or t-shirts
Thanks.
Dr_Motherplaguer: Haha, thanks, glad it made you smile.
udonhead: Cheers, it'd be pretty mint to do a skateboard at some point.
Here's some Sparkster fan art.
Not sure about the boxes as it's not clear what's going on.
Pretty Things is cute.

Ooohh, sky possum!!That's awesome!
On a different note: Your skill with watercolor is so damn boss it's ridiculous. I look up to your pieces because that's one of the things that I want to learn myself. Now let's see some realism studies just to break up the cycle
Kickin' ass mangs. I'm loving it!!
