I need to quit working in isolation.

So, I guess I'll upload some of what I've drawn since New Years.

Very nice, I really like the variety of textures in your landscapes.

Working in isolation can be quite counterproductive, at least I find it that way, it's good to get feedback- people can make observations you'd never make yourself.

    I hope you keep posting

Hey man, I really like teh churche citadel thing and that figure piece and your crashy wave one. I think you need to spend a bit more time on your pieces, I know they are sketches but I dont think you are capturing what you should from them. A sketch still has a purpose and lessons to be learnt from.
I think youre work is good though, a lot of energy and that it will develop very very nicely

I guess I shouldn't say I work in complete isolation- I've gotten plenty of feedback regarding my work from some of the kids I went to art school with, but we all tend to approach our work more or less in the same way.

Thanks! The reason these are so sketchy and rushed is because I absolutely hate drawing landscapes, cityscapes and interiors. Right now, the fact that I'm even finishing these ~15 minute sketches without getting frustrated and throwing my laptop out the window still feels like an accomplishment. But you're right, I need to spend more time on these. I'll be sure to work on some better developed landscapes today.

Okay, I've tried spending a bit more time on my sketches. I need to get some drawings from imagination up.

A couple landscapes, a horse that was used as the punchline for a stupid joke, and a wip portrait, because it's been too long since I've drawn anything with a pencil.
