How should one live their life?

I ask the moderators don't remove this, it kind of deals with art, I guess. It's deals with the art of living. I wanted to know what some of you think.

The way that fits them best, harming the least people in the process.

    I'm stiving towards
    -5-6 hours of sleep
    -8-14 hours of work
-Wind out with games or TV shows
-Art for at least 2 hours
    -Keeping a healthy social life
-Keeping yourself, your partner and/or pet and your living environment clean and orderly.

I hear a song coming on...

There are those who think that life has nothing left to chance
A host of holy horrors to direct our aimless dance

    A planet of play things
    We dance on the strings
    Of powers we cannot perceive
    'The stars aren't aligned
    Or the gods are malign...'
Blame is better to give than receive

    [Chorus:]
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill
    I will choose a path that's clear
    I will choose freewill

    Hey it could've been Floyd

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time.
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over,
Thought I'd something more to say.

    Eh, Neil Young for me:

    You know I lose,
    You know I win
    You know I call for
    The shape I'm in.
    It's just a game you
    See me play,
    Only real in the way
    That I feel
    From day to day.

    Although the answer
    Is not unknown,
    I'm searchin', searchin',
    And how I've grown.
    It's not all right
    To say goodbye,
And the world on a string
    Doesn't mean a thing.

No, the world on a string
    Doesn't mean a thing.
It's only real in the way
That I feel from day to day.
No, the world on a string
    Doesn't mean a thing.

Your brain needs to reorganize and rewire by sleeping. The more sleep deprived, the worst your performance; there is a tradeoff. You can try drinking coffee, but just so you know caffeine is a drug, and you get withdrawal symptoms from it, such that you need more and more caffeine to stay awake each time due to your body's adaptivity. You might also feel depressed from a lack of sleep, and stop finding interest in what you do.

Holding a pencil in position for too long will damage your hand and finger nerves. Flex every now and then. Sitting for too long on your legs on hard surface will damage the nerve in your legs, so stand every now and then.

Don't do drugs and eat fruits and vegetables (not cup noodles or ramen, because you might find yourself spending more time sitting on the toilet). The anti-oxidants from fruits and vegetables will make you feel better and look younger. The fibers will make passing your stool eezy peezy (more time to draw).

"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you've got to be kind."

How should one live their life?
Philosophers have been breaking their heads over the question for three thousand years and they still haven't come up with any definite answer. Personally, I find that I am happiest when I do not allow the question to bother me at all. I live the way I damn well please with the proviso that it doesn't infringe on the right of others to do the same, and that way we can all live in peace. I don't see why the question requires any more thought than that.

The thread starter did not give constraints to his objective question, so the answer can be anything. Also, the verb live is ambiguous. It is like asking, how many degrees of movement do you have?

Elwell, I have been thinking of Vonnegurt's quote, "God damn it, you've got to be kind" since yesterday and today. it is so weird I found your post today.

    My winter break schedule is usually this;
10 hours of sleeping (I sleep liberally, it is my first priority)
2 hours eating (I eat liberally, it is my second priority)
    1 hour other necessary things
4 hours outside just taking a break and going somewhere, or being with friend
1 hour surfing online and reading books. This is my 'wasted' time but it is a good way to refuel.
2 hours drawing for fun, spread out throughout the day.

And then 2 hours of serious attempts at art. It is only two hours but you spending more time forcing yourself to draw instead of having it come out by itself is not always best. Quality over quantity. So I don't feel bad about it.

My school days are more hectic and unpredictable.

Fizzelozefy i spent a few years studying while was young. which IMP is like handing teen a gun or a drunk the key's to a car...i'm drunk by they way!

HOW SHOULD ONE LIVE THERE LIFE? is a philosophical moot point. are you asking us the online population, or yourself?
if your looking for an answer from an outside source (the internet) take what you need and leave the rest behind...other people are not you. asking them a question like that is as usefull as picking the perfect egg (ideas) in a crate! there generally oval and wiegh the same!!!!
HOW DO I LIVE MY LIFE? what has worked for others might not work for you. and then it becomes an issue of religion gender and wealth. the logical answer is HOW YOU CHOOSE TO!!!!

Lady Medusa: Living with no regrets, in my opinion, doesn't mean you live without GETTING regrets. Instead I reckon it's when you die without any because you've gone out of the way to rectify or fix things you've regretted doing in the past.

The time is gone, the song is over,
Thought I'd something more to say.
dpaint, the real secret to life is the vocal solo following this. "Great Gig in the Sky". Pure musical orgasm.

And Elwell, might as well sing it.
