I got the bulk shapes out of the way. This is where I would usually stop and call it done so I'm curious to see what the finished product will look like.

Sounds like it defaulted to the wrong hand. You should be able to go to preferences and pick right or left handed use. Beyond that I have no idea.

Hey probably won't be able to finish this project on time. My computer caught something and I don't know how long it will take to get fixed. It's to the point where I had nothing on my computer but control panel and empty libraries.

I'll see what I can get done by hand and if that progress passes what I already did, I'll find a way to upload it. And just asking, but is there a technique or something that I missed for the tablet? I've only had it for not even a month so does it just take time to not look so sketchy?

Seriously considering doing the self portrait in graphite but I do really want to get better at the tablet so I don't feel as though I wasted my money on it.

Doing this I now see what you meant by my style being pencily lol.
Anyway, these are the undefined chunks you asked for. I do have the shadow and light on separate layers I just didn't want a huge chain of images =/

Thanks a ton for the pointers. I thought the highlights in the pupils looked odd too but the way my lighting was, it just kinda turned out that way. I most certainly am nowhere near finished so plenty of time to tweak.

I have a problem with your eyes, they are WAY to big. No one has eyes like that. The ears are not right either, ears end at the line where the base of your nose and end at your eye brow. Look at some Loomis or Bridgman. Other then that looks good. Also are you using your Skype picture as ref?
    Sean lol are you Asian?

I have never drawn myself or anyone else. And please keep in mind that this is rough. Very very rough. things can and will be fixed, I was just going for a broad base sketch of sorts

Understood. Its a common pose of mine so I can just as easily go off of a mirror. I am having an issue in the mouth and chin area at the moment, should occupy me for a while

well I only say that Sean because you made your eyes Asian, and it doesn't help that you look like you are wearing a robe and your head cut looks like a stereotypical Asian kung fu film haircut, you just need the pony tail and you will look legit

Still need to re-size the forward eye, dabble around the mouth area, and tidy the highlights up from what I can tell. Any other things that I should look into, Sean?

I'll get started as soon as I can find a mirror to put in my room, and if we don't have one, I guess I get to sit in the bathroom for a while lol.

I had to redo it... I botched my layers on the last try lol. Again, the mouth is giving me problems and now I have an eye issue. Unless I'm crazy cause no one around me at the moment will give any crits =/

yeah I have erased them and re drawn them idk how many times. I just picked a set and uploaded it to get some opinions. I save frequently now lol. And, due to my issues with them, the eyes have their own layer xD
