Hey everyone, this is my first sketchbook. It seems like a great way to become a better artist judging from what i've seen. Here Goes!

D: the environment makes me feel cold. *shudder* Love how you rendered the water's surface..
..but quick note, is that the final crop? Because you've got a lot going on at the edges, like the arching ice structure thing, that'd probably best be moved safely on the page by a 1/4 or 1/2 inch or so, or completely off it.
More importantly, welcome to the sketchbooks! I look forward to seeing more from you!
Nice! Started a sketchbook I see. Deffinitely going to follow this after seeing your work already in the EoW topic!
Mila: Thanks, that EOW was a lot of fun. Is there a way follow sketchbook besides manually looking for it everytime I log on?
JesseM Thank you for the warm welcome!
update, final EOW im sort of happy with it but i had to focus on my course work instead of polishing the crap out of it. And also completed page five of my assignment.
figure studies from reference, 30mins total.
Page 6 of my college graphic novel assignment, i want to put characters in the windows of the vehicle, not going so well/..blaaah sleep time

wip of a portrait study i started tonite, its a challenge. ive been trying to keep zoomed out and get the general shapes right.
nice start, I am liking your environments![]()

Your graphic novel is coming along just nicely. Don't stop!

Hey guys, after lazing about all day recovering from the graphic novel, I picked up this sketch I did last week and started going over it digitally and managed to get the legs right, looking at it now the head seems to big. Your criticism will really be appreciated.
nice stuff so far. my only real crit is that your figures seem to be rushed int a full rendering without properly checking the structure, theres two good ways of doing this i find, one - flip the canvas and two as soon as your about to commit to the heavy rendering, stop. go and get a drink or have like a ten minute break and try and forget what your drawing looks like, then come back and you'll notice some flaws you didnt when you made them. also a soft air brush wouldnt go a miss on your human forms, depends on what style your trying to achieve.
i would like to see some more enviros from you, the one for eow seems very confident. and the graphic stuffs cool, the only frame im not really that fond of is the one where he/she is holding up the binoculars infront of the mask, id say either flip the mask up, rotate the character to break up the symmetry or imply that the visor has voom capability.
but once again im liking where this is going and your enviro is very promising (this is coming from a character guy but still). keep it up!
Hey man
The novel is looking good. I'm not too sure about all the text-'balloons' though. For some of the characters out of screen you could use some sort of radio broadcoast/transmission font. ( For example in the first page )
And that rock-character looks bitchin' ! Good stuff.
Hey evrahbahdy! just started playing with zbrush and sculpted my own gears of war character.
nice studies ^^. I really liked your graphic novel and found it easy to read (what was going on). That zbrush sculpt looks fucking awesome man keep up the good work.
Your Zbrush sculpture looks really well done. Atleast it's not as bulky/football player sized as the typical GoW characters. I like it.
