Rooooaaarrr!!!

I don't think I'm going to be finishing this, heading to work in ten minutes. Good luck to everyone else, love what you're doing!
@JessieBean - You are sooooo amazing it makes me sick sometimes, LOL! LOVE your character and your painting style.
CrookedHorn I love that pose! It packs so much energy, but remains for the most part, rather neutral. I'm especially fond of the bulk you've allotted the pants, it really manages the ground the character and give it a lot of weight.
ThreeNineteen I really hope you manage to finish on time - and if you don't, I hope you still decide to render it out and show it to us. I love the lean on the character, and her facial expression is priceless. Her armour is also really interesting and complex. Lots of bones, lots of layers - and layering is always great!
ValkyriesBard That is some tummy - you've rendered it near perfectly from where I'm standing. I think the head looks like it's tucked in a bit too far - try moving it horizontally towards the right, it may look more natural. Your character's right hand is also shaped a bit awkwardly - should quickly redraw it before jumping into more rendering. Overall, it looks great! I love the shoulder piece, especially on her right side. Looks very intriguing. The eyes, too - they're absolutely piercing.
gonna try and finish this one![]()
woow, excellent job ALL, this is my final, it was a grate CHOW
shadow1687: That is a very nice armour design, and I love the weapon! As far as the picture goes I think it is well done but a little washed out. You have a vibrant red in the cloak but the skin is almost grey due to the blue fire, which should either saturate the skintone a little or it would mute the reds also. Still got my vote.
Oh man, there are so many awesome characters! Sadly, I didn't see this until last night so don't have an entry done. Started this and spent a couple of hours blocking out color and whatnot, maybe some day I'll get time to finish. Still figuring out how the heck photoshop works.
If I was a fantasy character I'd probably be a necromancer. But not an evil one, I'd face paint my minions and have awesome parties with them.
Buhardilla You're doing a good job of capturing your likeness. Still, I don't think the white dress fits a necromancer all that well - even one who has face painting parties with her half-rotting minion guests. But if you want to continue down that road, maybe adding a good bit of old-fashioned lace would help. Old lace tends to make me think of corpses... but that might just be my own neuroses.
Really lost a good deal of work time on this in the later half of the week, disappointing I wasn't able to work more on it.
