Hello I've literally just signed up to forum, been looking for some art related forums for ages so if any have anymore, please let me know! Anyways, I'm Joe (EMSEY), an artist/graphic designer from Bristol, United Kingdom. Just finishe a FDA in Graphic Design with Multimedia and will be finishing my degree in Plymouth in September! As well as Graphic Design I'm an extremely keen drawer, I tend to play with two different styles when I draw, one which is hugely influenced by urban and street art, the other is a lot more playful where I mainly draw strange looking character. im 13, i use a intuos4 xl and paint tool sai, and a hp touchsmart 300-1015uk
my ideal tools would be:
apple imac 27"
Intuos4 xl (see? half way there)
Corel Painter 12
Because im moving from the Uk to dubai i wont be able to post anything till around september 15th so anyway im a manga artists i will tell you first off as of recently my manga skills ( anime when my pc arrives) are definetly above some guy who can sit there and doodle, i enjoy drawing fantasy characters and landscapre, creatres and dragons too, although paint too sai limitits up to a certain point how good my characters look i will try my best

P.S: i a rich kid and with good reason, i get constant As in my grades and dont fail at my subjects ( apart from my artwork i have about 20 fails before a decent piece actually arrives) BUT above all none of the stuff i have is a status declaration or when im moving to, they all have reason ( well mabe not the touchsmart) so anyway yeah....

Hey I guess people probably won't read this. But I'm new here so I think I should introduce myself anyway. My name is Kimber, female (my nickname would be kind of strange otherwise ), 22 years old and I live in the Netherlands.

I'm pretty much a beginner, even though I liked drawing for a long time. Sadly some years a go I kind of thought my drawings never got any better which made feel sad of course and I pretty much gave up on it. But some time ago I had to design some characters for a project and I completely fell in love with drawing and designing things again. I do feel like I've lost a lot of years because of it, but I'm very motivated to work on it to get better at it.

I know most people prefer to see the elite concept artist (I'm probably not that interesting) but I do hope registering here is going to help me get better and make up for those lost years. I do have a tablet by the way so I work on traditional art and digital art.

I've been eyeing CA for years and finally got up the nerve to join and post. It is a very intimidating place!

I've been drawing steadily for 10 years but I've never had professional training or schooling in art. I know there are a lot of gaps in my knowledge and I'm hoping being here will help me learn how to address some problems I have and get to know some other artists better.

I did a webcomic until the beginning of this year and I'm working on designs for a new one. Hoping to get some help with that too over the next few months.

Hello all! I'm Farah. I'm semi-new to art. I've drawn art in elementary and middle school, and in high school I did some design for my multimedia class. But just this year I became interested in drawing again, so in my second semester of college, I switched from Biology to Art. I'm interested in animation but I joined ConceptArt.org because I want to establish a good foundation in drawing first before I tackle animation. Hopefully I can learn a lot here!

I'm not usually much of a forum person but I'm giving this one a go!

I'm 22, love art and drawing and recently graduated university with a degree in animation (you can find two short films here), however, I've been struggling in my first few months in the 'real world' and this is sort of an attempt to keep me involved in creative things before I get too disheartened - and of course to keep improving.

I cannot believe I actually joined.

Okay, I am one of those awe-struck lurkers who, in the, end couldn't help joining! So, hi!
Now I really don't know what to write but, I guess I'll start with saying I'm Inosha and I am a slightly eccentric 16 year old who chanced upon this site thanks to ImagineFX's top ten digital art school list.

I draw traditionally, although I'll be starting with digital medium quite soon. My preferred medium, as of now, are colour pencils of all kinds! Now, I'm trying to work my butt off so that my art improves and I can obtain an illustration major, as I want to be a concept artist for video games. So. Effing. Bad.

But as of now, I am working on full throttle to improve, learn and evolve constantly, so that's why I am here. I am not afraid of criticism as it will help me work on my mistakes.

*takes a deep breath*

Anyway, I hope I didn't bore anyone with that formal-ish rant! i'm just so very glad to be here!

I joined CA.. time ago .. but never had the time to be very active ..-- ( lot of work , & life ,etc..) so now I have the chance and time to be more active learning and sharing things whit all of the ppl here ..
about myself .. Im from Buenos Aires Argentina ..( yeah..down and faaar faaaaaaar away .. almost in the ass of the world hwaa Like many of you I love to paint &drawing since I was kid .. but I only start learning it very seriously at the age of 23-24 ( after school I entered Architecture University .. my parents didnt believe that someone can live doing art .. although they like art . .. anyway I ended abandoning the Architectural University and after some time I commit to study art full time , .. Im happy to be here.
