Stachmater's Learning From Loomis Sketchbook/study thread

I have been a lurker in concept art for awhile now and finally created a account. I have been drawing the figure for a while now so I do not consider myself a beginner, however I definitively do not consider myself advance. To advance myself to a higher level of figurative art I have decided to study from loomis famous books. In order to make this process as fun, painless, and productive as possible I have decided to post my progress here so that I can receive feedback, so please provide criticism and feedback it will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I am not sure if I am posting this in the right section as this is more of a progress of my studies then a sketchbook but I posted it here for now and will someone please enlighten me on where this should be placed.

I am starting with Andrew Loomis Figure Drawing For all its Worth since I need to work on drawing the figure without a model. Here are my studies of Loomis ideal male/female proportions.(These were not meant to be a exact copy of Loomis I was just trying to achieve the general feel for the proportions, I know a lot of lines and angles are off, and it seems to me that my drawings are kinda of shorter and fatter then Loomis especially the male one)

This is in fact the correct section, the sketchbook is whatever you want to put into it. Keep on working!

Great idea for a sketchbook. I'm beginning to work with the Loomis books as well, beginning with Fun with a Pencil. I'll be back, please keep posting.
