Happy with this so far, going to try and find some references or make my own and finish it..., Still at rough blocking in and idea stage here obviously but bonus points if you can guess who this is.
Critiques welcome allthough might be hard as there is alot missing, even so tear it apart if you think something is utter crap let me know I wont be offended.

Yo, for post #434 the wings look like they're missing the humerus, and the back feathers look a bit too vertical (maybe make them look more at an angle?). I couldn't find a good ref photo for the front view of similarly posed wings, but you can see on this one that the wings are sorta angled: http://www.hobotraveler.com/photos/e...-fly_photo.jpg

Also, when I was looking for "bird flexing", google images returned this as a result http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...08_306x287.jpg haha

enthombed: Cheers I hope too as well it seems I am very good at just giving up and moving to another piece and I understand why now its dam hard work committing and finishing something, So after this weekend I am going to be setting myself a goal of 1 illustration every 2 weeks (good or bad as long as i put my all into them and take them as far as i can) and see how that goes.

This studies are looking good keep at them.

You should watch out for the proportions on the last piece, the eyes look very small.

Also what i can suggest is posting your picture on a smaller size so people can view it better because as this it doesn't fit my hd monitor

    But good stuff

    Stay excellent.

Going to do wings and work on background then might put this one to bed, its sucking up too much time because I started so loosely.
