I am a soon to be TAD Student, but I am finding myself in a bit of a struggle when it comes down to choosing the course that best and most interests me. The big decision lies from choosing between the Illustration and Drawing&Painting course --they're awfully similar to me. I've read all the available description on them provided in the TAD website and have grasped the difference between them...but then I look at both their curriculium and think:
"Oh damn, I would really like to study History of Illustration in my Drawing&Painting course." --or -- "I'd really like to Narrative & Genre Painting in my Illustration course."
See what I mean? I need to somehow clear this dilemma away. What are the big differences, in terms of learnt techniques and historical predominance, between the two? What is exclusive to those two courses, what is unique in them?
I'd be very pleased if you all helped me out. Provide as much information as you are willing, knowing you'll be helping me decide which of the two courses is within the best of my interest.
Thanks in advance,
Mikawé
