(Anime Form) I need some help here... (Video Game Art)

So, err.... I've been making a video game, and it's working well, I've been drawing all the characters, and I have made plenty progress...

So where is my Protagonist?

What this is about:
Game Name: Heion No Kage

What it's about: Kai Nakino is able to see numbers. It started recently, and people with low numbers die rather soon. He has a number too. "5". And sooner then later, he dies in a horrendous accident. However, when he dies, he ends up in a place he never imagined he would. He's soul has been transfigured into a demon's soul, and he must fight against all hopelessness and temptation to do the impossible... Become human again. Many fun and serious characters help Kai in this quest. It is an M rated game for "Blood, Violence, Heavy Language, Minor Nudity, Suggestive Themes."

I need concept art for Kai's demon form.
- It can not look too humanish.
- Don't make him look like a common demon (devil red tail all that crap)
- Make him original, also don't make him look mindless.
- Okay, yes, make him red, but don't make him look like the devil in all usual demon concept ideas.
- He's still human on the inside, don't make him look like he enjoys his form.
- This isn't supposed to look TOO demonish, this is only his half demon form.
- For demon ending, make a full demon form.

For my personal favorite concept art, he/she will get credits in the game and a thank you and a personal stalker (me) for the rest of his/her life.

Ah. Well, this design is crucial to the game and I'm remaking some lines and stuff, but this one design I need to make before I can continue on the way I started.

Um, that stuff is up to you, personality?
He's somewhat depressed but he has the one "hope in hell".

So he's the kind of guy that is holding on to a tiny string that's about to break.
...And hair? Meh, I don't really think he needs hair. Don't make him look too human.

I need to play Demon Souls one of these days. Blistering difficulty can be pretty fun. I love stuff like Silver Surfer and Battletoads.
