Digital Alchemy

Thought I'd start a thread of some of my digital work...My background is in graphic design so I enjoy projects where I get to work with type. I use the term "alchemy" because it best describes my approach. I like taking a variety of elements and combining them into a new vision. Some of it is commercial, some portfolio and most is gallery work. Thanks for looking!

the only thing that looks wrong here are the bad fonts and font colors, i mean it could be me cause whereever i go in my town i observe fonts xD,, and i think some flow and blending could help like in the last 2 image, they are perfect

I can see what you did with the Hawkwind color font shift.

By changing the first to red, and the skull green. you've pushed the skull forward and gave it more emphasis, and the opposite in the second version. I like it.

The font thing reminds me of the 80's metal band styles (oh man some were cool while others...)

Love the electric winged skeleton. especially the effect you've achieved on the bottom half, giving a feeling of depth to the whole image (been studying GD & composition like a beast!).

You've created great texture in the last image, and a visual flow that's easy on the eye and at the same time soft.

Some music graphic variations for a friend at Wavegroup. For this "remix" they went with the "Goth Queen" version.
