Hello to all.

Long time lurker Ive just signed up to this great forum after wanting to discuss tablet options.

I was looking at the P-active 19" monitor but had a mad moment and just purchased a 2010 Cintiq 21ux!!!! Crazy I know.

Im not a professional artist artist but do work for an advertising company putting together phonebook adverts using photoshop & indesign. I studied at University and got a Degree in Art & Design - specialising in fine art (Im quite keen on doodling the odd cartoon character as well). So have the lovely title of BA after my name. Sadly 5 years after leaving Uni Ive not kept my hand in art at all as I find work quite tiring but thats about to change. Bloody needs to as well as my student debt is quite high!

Ive tried the Bamboo & Intuos 4 but the nub wear was crazy and just dont get on with looking away from my hand while drawing so just spanked all my cash + on the Cintiq 21UX. Fingers crossed Ive made the right choice.

Anyway hope to join in and contribute to the forums when I can.
