Well i'm new here and i want to begin with a sketchbook...
i usually draw whit pencils but i do digital things to, i'm learning 3D max so i'm going to put some 3d models to...

so i want to begin with some digital things

Some 3D sculpts

Hi there,

A nice variety in this sketchbook and beginnings of quality for sure. However, I am not entirely positive about the painting over photographs thing going on in here - that teaches you very little and so is mostly a waste of time, in my opinion. Try to be balder with your skills - draw from life or, in the last resort, from photographs, but instead of copying photos - get a few of one animal, say, study them, and try to draw it in a slightly different pose from that shown in all of them.

Be more daring - from the apple painting I can see that you are not yet confident with basic shapes-tone-colour techniques and understanding. I would suggest getting into academic drawing here and learning that. You can start with a sphere or a cube - position them in space, look closely at how the light hits them and where the shadows/half-shadows and light reflections are.

It will really help you and get you on your way towards photorealism and everything else. It may be painful, but I am sure you love drawing and getting the practice is will be nothing short of enjoyable.
