    My first sculpture

    Hi, Im a beginner here in the forum, this is my first sculpture and i'd like to Ask you for opinions and advices.

    sorry for the bad pictures and english (i'm Brasilian)

    I see you used what looks to be a heavy grog stoneware. If you want to get a nice smooth finish on it, before you move to leather hard you could paint a layer of slip over it. that is if you wanted to hide that rough stone texture. Me I like the texture, I've even thrown with it but its pretty unforgiving on the hands.

    Very nice and sweet. You captured the child's innocent look. Not bad for a first sculpt. Keep it up.
