Born Yesterday(MG's sketchbook)

New England born and raised... I always doodled in class and that turned into a passion for art. I won a few awards early in high school(scholastic art awards, student show award, etc) but I was steered in another direction by the people in my life. I went to university for journalism and dropped out (with a 3.8 gpa) to do other things. A while later, in the fall of 2009, I enrolled in community college and started taking art classes. Yadda yadda, I'll be going to art school in the fall and I'm trying really hard to become a better artist.

the fourth one is a copy from a book... i forget the name of the artist.
the last one is done from a model. i wish i'd had time to finish, but it was a 30 minute pose.

Hi Mr Cupcakes! I would say I like your cupcakes, but that would sound a bit dirty

I love the texturing on the icing on that last one the best, it makes it look really fluffy!
I myself have just recently started using conte and charcoal in the last few months, but I love it! How long have you been using it?
