I'm aware that there are at least one or two besides me who are deaf and/or hard of hearing. I'm aware that there is a Closed Captioning option for the TAD's free online learning sessions once a month. The only drawback is that once it goes live, captioning is not available until the whole thing is recorded. I'm assuming live captioning is expensive compared to having a volunteer transcribe the entire session for us.
So, what I'm asking is for any of you who are hard of hearing and need closed captioning to be able to understand the sessions better without being left behind is to introduce yourselves on here as a head count and make yourselves known to the TAD folks that you want closed captioning to be transcribed for your future educational and/or professional development.
Besides, I can't be the only one here with this problem.
Thanks,
-A
